You know, i've heard from many people saying that the Hulk was the best ride in universal because of all the unexpected flips, i've also heard that spider-man was the best ride, because of its' reallness and it feeling like your there, i've heard that duleing-dragons was the best ride, because fire and ice comes within 12 inches of each other. I mean really what is the Ultimate ride. What ride would you spend 4 hours on line for. I'm not asking for discriptions on all of the rides, I just want to know which ride is the best. One ride and a discription.

Thanks very much,
Ametsfan18

Why do we only need to list one ride? Are you planning on just riding one ride over and over again all day and nothing else?

My favorites list:
MIB
Spiderman
Mummy

But I can promise you that I ride more than just those three rides when I go.

No ride is worth a 4 hour wait, IMHO. Staying on site does have it's advantages.

For me the question is what ride do you ride over and over

The Mummy
MIB
Hulk
Spidey
River Adventure

I wouldn't spend 4 hours for any ride, anywhere. That's why I stay at RPR for the FOTL access. However, Spiderman is the best ride at Universal.

I get the most enjoyment out of Men in Black. It is a ride and a game mixed into one and I never get the same experience twice.

My favourite is Spiderman, however, that said I would NOT wait in line 4 hours to ride it - nor any other, for that matter.

I'd wait 4 hours in line for a ride on Pam Anderson. Wait she's not at USO! :confused3 I like MIB too and have gone there just to ride it.

The Mummy. We used the single riders line and walked on when the regular wait was 70+ minutes. We rode it 10-15 times in one afternoon. It was wikkid, and I'm not a big coaster fan.

Hold onto your hats/sunglasses though. I caught one guy's hat as it flew off of his head. He was very happy I did! I also caught one lady's sunglasses when they fell into my lap during the ride. Grabbed 'em and held on tight. She didn't even crack a smile let alone say thanks - like I'd yoinked them off her head or something :confused3

if you had to wait 4 hours for a ride, the queue at DD could hold it.

Spiderman and MIB are my have to's when we visit each park.

I guess I'd have to say for overall experience, Spiderman would be my choice for best ride. At US I'd say MIB for the same reasons Damo listed, and I have a competitive nature! I would think for someone just walking in tho, MIB probably wouldn't end up being their "ultimate" ride...for me it's about the challenge more than the ride itself. I'd say Shrek and Mummy would be my runner's up.

The thing about this question is, the BEST ride is just a matter of opinion, not scientific fact, so it really depends on what YOU like...

I wouldn't wait 4 hours for anything either...but then, I live here and am not inclined to really wait for anything! (just ask MIB9's! :teeth: )

overall, it's Spiderman to me. it's the most unique attraction there is in any park. TOT at MGM is my favorite ride as far as story and theming, but Spiderman is a technological leap of imagination.

Spiderman is amazing without being terrifying.
Did Mummy once for a lifetime.

I have to agree with others that I stay onsite so I don't have to line up, but the ones I will race around and reride multiple times in a row are Mummy and Duelling Dragons.

I am sorry you are thinking about that park down the street when you talk about four hour waits. I can't think of the name but the expression, If I see another princess, I am going to puke comes to mind.

Now if you want my vote for the best ride at Islands of Adventure, Universal Orlando, Florida, the United States, North America, The World, The Solar System, The Galaxy, The Universere. Then I would have to say Spiderman.

Thanx and have a good day.

No i didn't only need to know one ride, just wanted to know the absolute best, if there is. See i've rode the tower of terrer but i've never been to universal. Huge roller coaster fan. Ride everyride possible. So close to kingda ka have you rode that?

You guys are cracking me up!! :lmao: :lmao:

The ol'lady wouldn't wait for a ride on Denzel for 4 hours.... no no no. BUT the experience of a lifetime is the Spiderman ride. I still remember riding it in July 1999 and my mind was just BLOWN! The Hulk is also great but it's not Spidey!

The best ride at Universal is the bar stool at Finnegan's during Happy Hour!

No really, I did wait an hour to ride Spiderman and I felt it was well worth the wait, even though I had ridden it before.

I wouldn't spend 4 hours for anything at US or anywhere for matter. However, the best ride IMHO are MIB and Spiderman. Mummy just didn't live up to all the hype people gave me. However the two above surpassed my expectations.

While I love the Hulk because it has a mixture of things you won't find on any other coaster, for the best, most unique ride experience in the world...Spiderman is it.

Spiderman is my favourite ride of all, however I would not queue 4 hours for any ride personally.
If it was that busy I would be sat by the pool relaxing in the sun. :sunny:

I know a friend who waited 4 hours for Kingda Ka! He told me after waiting that long, he now knows what purgatory feels like.

Well, that's a tough question, because different folks like different kinds of attractions. I think the Hulk is the best coaster anywhere, running a close race with Kraken at Sea World. But after 4-5 times, I've had enough of the Hulk for a day. Spiderman is a unique ride and the imagination behind it is spectacular, but I wouldn't ride it over and over. Once you've done it a few times, you've done it. The Mummy is fun, but not the greatest thing I've ever done. That leaves my all time favorite USF attraction: MIB! I love it. I would pay admission just to ride this one attraction. It never gets old to me. I rode it over 25 times last week, and I was in heaven!

So I'm sure the best ride is different for many people, but that is what makes USF parks so great, they offer something for everyone.
