Which do you feel most comfortable at?

My biggest issue is feeling safe when walking to my room at night.

Being a DVC member, I prefer the BW. Though in May I will be at SS due to nonavailibility of BW. But looking forward to it, and am anxious to walk to PI and AC!

If safety is a concern then the Animal Kingdom Lodge is great because all of the rooms are entered from inside the lodge. And it's beautiful and seeing all the animals is so much fun. The restaurants are very good too.

When I travel solo I always choose a monorail resort so I can easily buy whatever I need all within the main buiding.

I've always felt very safe at WDW-and I've gone solo there 8 times (9th is reserved). I voted for the Beach Club, but the Boardwalk is probably just as safe. You're probably most concerned about safety after dark, I'd guess. Well, there's so much going on there, what with Boardwalk entertainment, people going to B&C after Epcot closes, there are always families around. But I've stayed at AKL solo, too, and that was fine too.

Having stayed at the WL solo, I was spoiled by always going through the lobby area to get to my room. And it's the resort we always stay in as a family. Sentimental feelings for sure!

Staying in the Epcot hotel area appeals to me too but...once you have a favorite, it's hard to switch!

I'm trying to convince myself to try another resort. Keep those votes and comments coming! :teeth:

when solo, i prefer the CR - have stayed at the ASMO and PC solo, but just feel safer with inside hallways - plus love the MK view!

i did my first solo trip in feb. (and i am now hooked!!!) :goodvibes . i stayed at WL due to safety issues. i can be somewhat of a chicken sometimes. my first choice was CR but could not get tower room. i am so glad i chose WL. so beautiful and never any issues at all. i found myself taking the boat many times and coming in the back way by the pool and never had a problem. when i first decided to go solo i told myself i would be back in my room by dark :lmao: who was i kidding??? i had the time of my life!
