I heard this is like the best game in the world or something lol. should i get it? i just got more cash for my birthday and i wanna get it..is it worth buying?

I have it and it is so much fun!! You can do what ever you want with them!! I want the expansion packs for Christmas b/c they'll add lots of new things to it.

If you go to http://www.thesims.ea.com/us you can learn more about the sims. Once you have the game (if you want it) you can download things for it, such as new objects (slot machines, moose head, new plants, and new lights), this art thing (you can save pictures from the internet on your computer, and upload them onto the art thing, and you'll see it in your game), a home crafter thing (you can make your own wallpaper and floor tiles with this) and some other stuff I don't remember.

I highly recommend it. :D

YES!!! This is one of my favorite games and I play it all the time. They also have two add-on packs--Livin Large and House Party, and they're also coming out with another one, Hot Date in mid November. The add-on packs make it even more fun and sometimes I say I'll only play for about half an hour, and I end up playing for a few hours!

yeah you should definately get it!!! It's soooo much fun! I don't play it as much as I used to cuz I don't wanna get hooked on it and play for like hours on end!!! But I played it w/the kids I babysit for, and we were on for like almost 4 hours!!! I got the Livin Large pack, and it's pretty cool! I gotta get the House Party! Oh yeah, download the soda machine! It's so cool! :D

I had it, the 2 expansion packs, and I'd downloaded about 200 things off the net. I was soooo addicted (even more than I was to the DIS :eek: ). And then my computer broke, and the Sims just won't work anymore. Grrr......now they were withdrawal symptoms. :rolleyes:

I had loads of Disney skins too, but I lost them, and I think the website that made them closed :( .

Anyway...back on topic...I think you should buy it Samster :D

I tried down loading skins and rugs, but ever since I tried to download Disney fonts (and me, being the idiot I am, had it open every time with winzip) and now everything opens with winzip!! I downloaded the Sim stuff though, like HomeCrafter, Sim Cop, and a few others.
