It says stay at a value for 89.00 a night but has anyone called to see if this pin works for Moderates or Deluxes? I am just curious what the discount is on those levels?

I got the same pin and called yesterday and was able to book mod. @ $139.00 (10% discount) for early May. This is probably a fair price but I'm kicking myself for not booking the AAA rate @ $131.75 (15% discount) while it was available. Our dates are 5/6-5/13 and only Riverside was available. :sunny:

I got a pin in my email for $79 at a value for May only.
I received the $79 rate as well. I'm trying to convince my sister to go, as my dh "doesn't do Disney every year."

OK - I have a question. I am new to this site and have seen post on the pin code. My questions is how do you apply to receive a pin code. Sorry if it is a stupid question, I just never heard of a pin code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Planning on going to Disney Sept 30 - Oct 5.

I finally got one, but I have a package booked for 4/29-5/4 so the pin code for room rate can't be used in my situation, correct?? I can only benefit from Disney offering a deal on packages at this point. Any vets have some input?!?

 Unfortunately you can't apply to receive a pin code. In some unknown way Disney picks different people to get a code. I've heard of Disney vets that have never received a code and I've heard of people getting them several times. Go figure!

I also got the $79 values last week. First time I've ever gotten a pin code, but wouldn't you know it, we are in the planning stage for an Oct trip. Hopefully there will be some kind of discount then. When we went in 2001, there was a code for October!!!

I got teh $89 pin offer and I booked POP for one night, that's all I needed. I did ask about a Moderate and POR, POFQ, and CBR were all available but the price was $172.82 with tax. Does that sound right?

My pin code is good from April 23 till June 3, for $79 value. You have to call, you cannot book on-line.

I recieved a pin code, but it isn't for room only rates. It is for room plus free ticket upgrade. It sounds like the same deal that is out, but it did have a pin code. I just wonder why they would send it to me with a code? This is what it said:
THE FAIREST
DEAL OF ALL
FREE Ticket upgrade with a 5-night/6-day Family of Four stay at a select Disney Value Resort
plus Theme Park Tickets just
$1400*
And for a limited time for stays most nights
4/23-6/3/06, enjoy these FREE Ticket upgrades (a savings of over $300):
Park Hopper® Option: Come and go from Theme Park to Theme Park on the same day.
Water Park Fun & More Option†: Enjoy a total of
5 visits per person to your choice of Disney Water Parks, DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park or Pleasure Island nightclubs.
†Water Parks subject to weather closure.
Can someone correct me if I'm wrong? If so, I would move my trip up to save money. TIA.

The $1400 stay has 2 adults, 1 Jr. and 1 under the age of 3. Yes you get the ticket upgrade too. To get the $79 value room though you have to call. Seems wierd that they can e-mail you with the info and you still have to call.

So, is the room discounted or I would just be getting the ticket upgrade? I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Yes, and I still would have to call. Thanks.

I rec'd the e-mail code for $89 value. I was so excited because was my first e-mail ever with code. Then I realized that the deal is not that great. I could get a better deal with AAA. Why do some people get $79 and others get $89. I wonder if I called could they match the $79 rate? Do they let you apply it to deluxes??

. I could get a better deal with AAA. ??
I was quoted $94 with AAA, so the PIN is cheaper, not much cheaper, but every dollar counts.

What do these elusive emails look like? I hope I didn't delete one. I get stuff from Disneyonline, and a few other disney sites, but I never know what to look for in the subject line, or who they actually come from.

Are any of these codes for late June? Can you add on the dining plan?

No the codes are not for late June, but you can add the dining plan onto your itinerary at any time at your cost, it is not free.

The AAA discount for a value resort/regular season is ~$84 w/o tax. The pin code I recvd is $89 w/o tax for a value resort/regular season. The AAA rate is better for those of us who rcvd the $89 pin code..

I got this same pin code deal today via email, also my first pin and I betcha it'll be my only... It's not a great deal, I checked the price against rack rate and it's only $10 off a night at a value and I don't really want to stay at a value and I haven't saved enough right now money or vacation time for anything else... I'm not inspired to go between now and June 3rd for that... Gimme $99/night @ a moderate and then we'll talk!

All I ever get is an email saying...time to start planning your next trip, yadda-yadda.Guess they figure I'm coming regardless.
For dates/accom. I'm interested in, no AAA rates open, nor AP's yet, let alone a pin code - grrr.

Just curious, does the pin work for a discount off the mod hotels as well? Or was it decided that they would only work for the value resorts??? Any help would be of much help! Tell me please.
And are you able to call the regular toll-free number and ask? or would I have to call the number they put under the PIN number?? Thank you very much for any help that can be given :)

Last week, I received a PIN code for $89 at a value resort. This was our first PIN offer, after nine trips. I was able to apply it to a concierge lagoon view at the Yacht Club, for $448 a night (compared to $560 with no code). I thought this was a good deal, but I did not ask about AAA rates.
I wonder ... would my discount have been greater if I had received an e-mail for a $79 offer?

Adora, yes, the pin can be applied to the mods. I had Dreams Unlimited check for me, and the AAA rate was still cheaper than the pin, so I went with that. AAA rate for CBR for early May is $131, and pin rate was either $135 or $139, I forget which.

I called 2 weeks before Easter and asked to have a preferred room at a Value. They were pretty booked up and said I could have a Mod. for the price of the Preferred Value. I had my choice between POR and Coronado. I took POR for $119 a nite. This was in 2003.
