Hi,
We will be on the Wonder next week.....The last time we went on the Wonder we did not go over to Paradise Island....
Can anyone tell me the approx cost of a cab, boar etc ride over to Atlantis? We want to go over to the casino for a few hours....

Thanks in advance.........

It is typically $4 or $5 per person. Settle on the price before you get in the cab (which are mostly vans), and make sure that that includes them paying the toll to get on to the island.

We paid $4 each way per person in December. One time they did not charge for my son who was 3 at the time.

It cost the water taxi company $10 (through HAL) to pay a taxi to return Cash and me to the ship after they refused my prepaid return water taxi trip....

That included:
1 Service Dog
1 electric scooter
1 human passenger :cool1:

Our tour guide in Nassau said take a cab..not the water taxis. That was one of her tips. She said maybe $5 per person.

Once we get there by taxi, do they allow you to pay per person to use the pools and beach for the day?

My family and I were at Atlantis just last week!! We paid $4 per person for the taxi ride to and from. I believe you can only use the pools if you are a guest at the Atlantis or the Comfort Suites (which is a very short walk away). There are two Disney excursions 1. Includes use of the beach only and 2. is to walk through the aquarium. We found for our party of 4 it was much cheaper to rent a room for the day at the Comfort Suites. This cost us about $230 and allowed us to walk around the entire pool area, go on the amazing slides, and see the aquarium.

Hope this helps,
Maggie

If you take the water taxi on your own it is $3 one way.

The water taxi is cheaper but for those with small children or older folks it is alot of walking. Beware of the van or taxi drivers...they drive fast and crazy. Just close your eyes and pretend you are on Space Mountain!!! :rotfl:

If you want to get off of the ship in Nassau and go to the beach, do you recommend going over to Paradise Island, or the beach west of downtown Nassau. We are a family with three kids 18, 15 and 11. We aren't interested in doing Atlantis.
