Hi crafty folk! Can I use regular glue to glue gemstones to felt?

Or do I need to break down and buy tacky glue? I am a foreigner to this crafty land of yours. I have ZERO creativity!

I'm thinking you'd want to use either Tacky Glue or, better yet, Aleene's Jewel-It glue (you can get it at any Joann's or Michaels). I'm afraid something like Elmer's wouldn't hold up for very long. HTH!

That is what I thought. I guess I will buy some glue and teach my girl scouts about sharing- they need the lesson anyway!

I use hot glue.

If it's for Girl Scouts I would use Tacky Glue or Aleene's jewel glue. Super glue if you can supervise them.

If it's an adult doing this then I would use E6000 glue which is very industrial-strength, but it's very toxic and gives off fumes so better to use it outside.
