I had read somewhere that people who stay at the resorts (we are DVC members too) can get packages delivered to their resort from the parks. Is this true? I was asking because we are going to the Royal Table for breakfast and now since they take pictures we did not want to carry them around with us all day and thought we could take advantage of the delivery to the resort. Does anyone know if this will work?Thanks!

Yes you can have packages sent to your resort.

you can however, remember they will not be available for pick until a day or 2 later at the gift shop of your hotel.....and i am not sure about pictures being delivered.

yes pictures can be delivered..... we were there last week and my family rode test track and i had the pictures delivered to the gift shop at AKL it was there by 7:00pm the next day..... we also used it for souveniers the whole trip.... and its free.. vicki

Oh, you pick it up at the gift shop of your resort, not the front desk? I did not know that. Now if I am buying souveniers say from a store in Magic Kingdom, do I just tell them there at the store that I want it delivered or do I have to take it to a central location at Magic Kingdom and they do the delivery from there? Thanks so much!

you just tell them at the actual store-- usually they will ask you anyway. you then fill out a form, you get a copy and thats it-- no packages to carry!

yes and then you pick up your items from your hotel gift shop-
