Got my Mickey heads!

Ok, so my trip is still 7 months away....We happened to be at Home Depot yesterday and there was a full stock of lime green Mickey heads in the paint chip rack, so I grabbed a couple while I was there! They are currently taped to the wall by my computer.

I'll be sticking one to the post at our campsite in November, if anyone's there come on by and say howdy! :wave:

I haven't taken part in this before, but apparently DISers identify themselves while at WDW with a lime green paint chip (I've also seen t-shirts referred to, or bandana or the like). At the Home Depot, they feature some Disney paint schemes with all these coordinating colors, and the paint chips come shaped like a Mickey head (instead of the usual rectangle, with several on a strip). It's actually called Alien Green but it's "lime" for sure! I've seen several FW campers say they've put one of these on their site number post, and/or pin one to their hat or backpack. It's just a way to identify yourself to any other DIS board member who might happen to see you at WDW! :goodvibes

I am sure that the Publix sells exactly the right brand of mustard and bologna !

I got the trailer uncovered yesterday (supposed to snow tomorrow) just have to check the tires and I am ready to roll.

I even have on of my operatives here at work coming down later this week. I will have any recon I need at the touch of a Nextel.

Every time I have been to Home Depot and looked at the Mickey paint samples, the lime green has about half as many samples left as the other colors. Maybe there are soem lurkers or closet "Dis" people out there ?

It's the same at my Home Depot too. I think the people that stay in the other resorts use them to tape on the front of their room doors too, so it's not just a FW thing. People also use them to pin on themselves, tie them on luggage, strollers, backpacks, and everywhere else they can find room!

The green mickey heads is so that ALL dis'ers can spot another dis'er. Not just those staying in Fort Wilderness campground. :)
