** Which AIRLINE is better, CONTINENTAL or NORTHWEST Airlines? Sorry, non-WDW

If you could choose between Continental or Northwest (approx. same price) to fly to Newark, which one would you choose?

Do you have any experiences - positive or negative with either airline?

Any Flight/Travel EXPERTS have any advice?

I've used both of these and found no significant difference. All airlines have good days and bad days as far as service goes. If it were me, I'd pick the airline with the least expensive NON-STOP flight. If prices were the same, I'd choose the times that were most convenient for me. Hope you have a good trip!

I'd take Continental.

1. They have (on average) newer equipment. (9.6 years average aircraft age for Continental, 21 years average aircraft age for Northwest.)

2. Flight Attendants were really nice to my kids on my Continental Flight...stopped several times to talk to them, gave them activity pack, etc. Northwest Flight Attendants were indifferent.

They are both great airlines. Take the best price asnd the best connections. If all things are even then I would chose Continental.

if you can get a regional jet on continental, i would take that...nice jets
