My friends are going to be travelling with us next March. They are really interested in a hotel that offers suites (too much $$$ on property). They would also like a property that offers different amnenities. does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks. Also wanted to add they would like to be about 15 minutes from WDW if possible
They are a family of 5

It's not 15 minutes away (it's very close to DTD), but I always like Cypress Pointe thru hotelkingdom.com

Check out the DoubleTree Suites in Down Town Disney. They are really reasonable and even closer to disney.

Out of curiosity is there a reason they want to be 15 minutes away???
If that is a high priority I was thinking the could rent a condo/townhouse at Regal Palms. I would check www.hotelkingdom.com or www.vrbo.com(for direct owner rentals) for rates.

That is the furthest they would like to be, closer is fine

OK- I think I misunderstood that one  . I would still check www.hotelkingdom.com then. They have tons of suites and condo's listed that would most likely work for them.

Nick Hotel....by Holiday Inn...Only about a 10-15 min drive to most WDW areas...2 waterpark type pools, kids spa, mini golf, basketball, slimetime show, game room, Check out their website...Its expensive but if you keep checking you can get good deals...We stay free there with our Holiday Inn points. Also all rooms are at least 2 separate bedrooms and separate living area you can either have bunks or 2 twins in the kids room and queen in parents plus a pullout couch in living room..Definietly a kids hotel!!

I searched all over for a suite close to Disney & chose the Doubletree in DTD. We will be there for the first time in Aug. There are discounts if you book through the link on mousesavers.com & free breakfast. There is currently a thread going on about it. I also did a search on this board & heard good things about it. It right across the street from a shopping center w/restaurants & grocery.
