Does anyone know where I can find the water bottle carriers? I am looking for the ones with the straps that you can carry a single water bottle...haven't been able to find them anywhere. Thanks!!

Wal-Mart has them back in the sporting dept. They cost around $3. :sunny: They are like insulated bags with a strap. They hold one water bottle that is included.

I found the kind that has the strap and the little rubber circle that fits around the neck at our local Dollar Tree last year. But I haven't seen them since then. Since they're starting to break out their summer stuff, you might be able to find the insulated kind there soon.

Thanks for the suggestions....I asked in Wal-Mart the other day, the guy had no clue what I was talking about. Headed over to Super Walmart for groceries, I'll check again!

I found them at Eckerd Drugstore and at Walgreens. They are just now putting them on shelves for summer and they go quickly.

We got ours at a little cart on the corner of the main drag in MGM, where they were coincidentally selling water bottles...not far from where I get my caramel apple.

I think I saw them in Walmart near the umbrellas in the ladies accessories area.

At my Walmart, they had them by the Women's accessories (purses, wallets, etc.) on a display.

I would just add that I am an ultra runner, and when we go to WDW, I take my fanny pack that holds two water bottles. These water bottles have a wide mouth so that you can fill them with ice and then add water. Plus you have the fanny pack to hold a camera, advil, sunblock, chap stick, etc... It works well.

You can also check out Mountain Equipment Co-op. We're planning on using the Pristine water bottles (filtered what with WDW water and all) with the fanny packs that have pouches for two water bottles.

My two cents.....if you're purchasing to take to Disney, buy at Disney. I purchased one at DL in 2001 when we went and we took it with us on our trip to DL in Nov. 2005 and we're still using it just fine! :thumbsup2 The ones I've purchased at other places, even other amusement parks, have not held up nearly as well. The best (outrageously priced I thought at the time) $5 I've ever spent!

Where did you get your fanny pack that holds 2 water bottles?

I bought my fanny pack with two water bottles at REI - which is a hiking/camping store. I also have seen them at running stores. You can also buy a sleeve for each bottle that will help insulate the bottle - to keep the water colder longer. I usually carry a camera, film, blistex, rain poncho, bag of skittles, batteries, and sun screen in my fanny pack. Make sure you buy one with bottles that have a wide mouth so that it is easier to add ice before filling the bottle up with water.
Good luck in your search!
