Sometimes I only travel with my camera phone. Well, at 0.3 MP, it makes crap looks like gold.

Enter these two softwares.

1. Alienskin Image Doctor. This will remove all the blockiness of highly-compressed pictures.

2. Genuine Fractals 4.1. This will enable you to enlarge small sized pictures up to 800% without seeing any 'breakups'. I've never tried 800%, but I've tried making my 0.3MP picture (after cleaned by Image Doctor) enlarged to about 2MP so I can make decent 4x6 prints.

The results are amazing! As usual, I bought these software from eBay (I personally have bought cellular phone, CD writer, lenses, camera flash, DVD, you name it from eBay and only got scammed once... on a $2 lens cap that never arrived and the seller refused to send another one).

Here's a pic link what Alienskin Image Doctor can do (http://www.alienskin.com/idoc/idoc_filters.html).

And here's a link to the review written by Shutterbug magazine about Genuine Fractals (http://www.shutterbug.net/equipmentreviews/software_computers/0306genuine/index.html)

PM me if you want more info.

Cool. I tell you, you are a wealth of knowledge. Both DD and I have camera phones, and never really use them except to send pics to my sister to make her jealous when we are in a park and she is a work in PA!!! :teeth:

LOL! Just FYI, the Image Doctor is a one-button solution (the default setting works like a charm), although you can tweak it to your heart's content. Genuine Fractals is very compllicated, that's why for the time being I just use their default settings.

Thx Kelly once again!
DS sends phone pics all the time from college. As much as I love anything he sends they really are in need of doctoring but never knew how :thanks:
This will be great.
