We stayed at the Radisson at Manchester Airport last year and are contemplating trying somewhere else next time, there's nothing wrong with the Radisson but it was quite expensive for a family room. Can anyone else recommend an alternative, it has to be near to the airport and there'll be three adults, we liked the Radisson's family room and would like somthing similar this time.

Anyone got any recommendations? :confused3

We stayed at the britannia country house last time we went from manchester. It was a nice comfortable hotel we also had a familly room for 3. you can park at the hotel and they run a courtesy coach to and from the airport about 30 mins away.we would definately stay there again.

We've used Bewleys for the last few years - because the Radisson was getting expensive. The cost last year was £99 (£69 for the room and £30 for car parking - I don't know how many family rooms there are (if any), but the £69 room cost is the same for ALL rooms EVERY night.

We used Bewleys with parking on our last trip to WDW & will probably use it again this year before we fly to Italy. A good hotel for the price.

Hi there,

Normally we stay at the Crowne Plaza at £135 for the family room and parking included although after a tip I got from here, we have booked a Travelodge on site, at £10, yes £10 for a familyroom for 4.

Wow - that's a great deal. I just checked for my dates and got £26. Amazing value! Only problem is - I booked the Holiday Inn earlier on today. :confused3

I'm still fairly happy with my deal as I got a family room and parking for £119. Not as good as the travel lodge but not bad! :)

Hi,

We stayed at Bewleys last year and would recommend it. It worked out about £140 for the room and 3 weeks parking. Family rooms were 2 double beds but we took an inflatable bed with us to give us the room. Big advantage being able to walk to T2.

This year we booked with Bewleys again but cancelled (full refund) due to the Travelodge and parking that was recommended on this site. £26 for the room and £64.50 for 3 weeks parking - room has 3 beds so no need to take inflatable.

We managed to find a £10 Travelodge room too :thumbsup2

The site says that it's only a mile and a half from the airport :sunny:
We're driving over to the airport's new shuttle car park in the morning and have 3 weeks parking at a discounted rate of £54.50 :cool1:

Another vote for the Travelodge here. We stayed there before our trip at Christmas which cost £26. I have also booked another family room there for £26 for this Christmas, then we can splash out on the Meet & Greet service for the car :)

Just tried to see if the Travelodge had my date cheap but it's all sold out, they re-directed me to a Manchester city centre hotel....10miles away!

Booke d Bewleys yesterday £109 for 1night family room sleeping 4 & 15 nights parking.

Girl said on phone yesterday that shuttle bus is now included in the price but should be booked on arrival.

When we stayed at Bewleys we just walked to T2 - if you make your way to T1 there's a moving walkway from there to T2 - it only takes about 15 mins and brings you in right at the check-in.

Hi. How does the parking work out at Bewleys? At the Raddisson you just leave it there and go back to the hotel on arrival - very convenient, but pricey as everyone has said.

At Bewleys you leave the car in the Bewleys car park and they take it off site once you've gone.

They use Carminder 2 - on your return you get the shuttle bus to the off-site parking .
