When should I book transport?

I just booked my trip a few weeks ago, but haven't booked my airfare or car rental. I'm a Disney club member and I plan on joining national's emerald club. How far in advance should I book my rental car and what type of car should I ask for? This is my honeymoon trip so it will just be me and my husband. Thanks for your help.:)

It really depends upon which months you are travelling. You can always book the car now and watch rates carefully. If they drop, make a new ressie and cancel old. You can apply on line for the DC fee waived EC. You will get your number in minutes and can book a car. As for airfare, again, the time of travel will tell that.
