I see from the MCO web-site, that children's play areas are located at the departure gateways in three of the four wings of the airport. Has anyone seen or used such play areas? What age are they geared to and what type of toys do they have? With the new rules of arriving 2 hours before departure - I was hoping this might be a good diversion for my sons while we wait.

Not sure that I've seen them at MCO, but I have seen them at many other airports. They generally have a couple pieces of Little Tykes type equipment to climb on, some books, a small table and chairs. Similar to what you would find in the play area of a nursery school, geared for 2-6 year olds.

Keep in mind that they want you at the airport two hours early because it often now takes that long to get through all the security checkpoints. So it's quite possible that you'll spend a couple hours standing in lines, and not have time for a play area.
