I just got off the phone with FW and the 200 loop will be closed for rehab in April. That seemed like a good one for us because of the location.
We're really stuck on trying to figure out what to request now
Us:
popup (but preferred reserved)
2 year old
4 year old
adults, one with medical problems and some walking issues
no bikes, no golf carts
no pets and not really fond of them
will be using the comfort stations and would like them close-ish
I think we're going to have to plan to use the busses no matter what, but we had hoped to be walking distance to something.
Can you offer suggestions on what to request and why?

Loop 100. It's closer to the marina area & bus area pick-up than 200. We were in site 116. It's right by the walkway to the marina. Very convenient.
Our favorite preferred loop is 1400 (the outer loop). It's right next to the campfire/movie and a reasonable walk to the Meadows pool and trading post. We tend to go to the campfire/pool area more frequently than we go to the Settlement area. We usually walk or ride our bikes to the Settlement, but it's a quick bus ride, too. You'd probably want to make them aware of your need to be near the comfort station, though, because it can be a long walk in a big loop.

400 would be another good loop if you can't get 100. 100 is definitely the best for someone with walking problems. It's right there at the Settlement/dock area.
6 months til we're back at the Fort for MNSSHP. :teacher:

So I need to ask for near a comfort station no matter what!

I agree with 1400, I think we had "Little Bear". Can't rememer the exact name. But the comfort station was right behind us .... as well as the campfire. This was a preferred site, but the location to buses and everything was great.
