Okay, I don't have to tell you that there have been a lot of changes between now and when this blissful event was first announced. ;)

So, my question is, Are YOU Coming To DIS-Con?

We will be there! Me, Helen and my 14 year old DD. We will be staying at the Yacht Club and I can not wait. We arrive 11/27, but are staying at the Hampton Inn that first night. Then from 11/28 to 12/2 we will be at the Yacht Club for the convention.
To save for this trip I did not take a full week vacation this summer so I am ready for a vacation. And there is no better vacation that one at WDW!!!!!!!!!!

Tia: I am taking the cruise on my own. Last year, when I did it with DD, I had a taste of a solo cruise, for she spent lots of time at the club (even though she didn't speak English, go figure!). I think it is going to be lots of fun! I will be able to do sg I don't do for a loooooong time: relax! And now, Tia, this is doctor's orders!
My son,11, might meet me after the cruise. The problem is that his trip would be kind of a prize for his efforts at the coming entrance tests for junior high school. So far, he is not overly worried with the tests (which is good), and is doing little effort to study for them (which is bad). In other words: I am still considering if this trip would be timely for him. I want very much to take him, because he is growing up so fast that I am afraid soon he will be too big to want to travel with mom.

Bellemom, My son is 19 and would not have passed up this trip except that it is the week before his exams and since he is in his first year of college he felt that he should stay and study. I do not think they are ever too old to go with mom to WDW, well until they are married but that is a long way off for your son and hopefully a few years away for mine.

We are sort-of coming. We dont get in till late Nov 30th... so I will miss most of the events and just couldn't justify spending the $$$ if I couldn't use most of the package. Please notice that I changed my name to wannabe DIS-con commando.:):)

Well, I was registered for DIS-Con at one time, but I cancelled the events pkg. due to finances and my DH's request. However - I will still be at WDW before, during, and after DIS-Con, staying at the Dolphin (with my DH, 3 kids, MIL&FIL, and sister-in-law's family of 4) - so you'll probably run into me...no matter how hard you try to avoid it! . ;)
