OMG, I would LOVE it if everyone could come up this summer. We usaully have a HUGE party in the summer. Lots of drinks, firworks, and many games of Volleyball. The best is when you have 30 people jumping into the pool at the same time. 30 drunk people I should say:rotfl: . Just bring your tent. http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/camper1.gif http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/campfire.gif
Ronnie , you must be getting excited about your trip. I am so jealous. They are calling for the temps here to stay in the teens for most of February. Are you tenting there or is it the Lodge?

If you look at a map of Great britain were in the very centre,A place called YORKSHIRE you just have to remember were as in the states you can drive for miles without seeing a soul over here your never above a few miles from somewhere,WHEN we become friends you'll have to come over and stay at ARE SHACK and we'll show you the local places of real beauty like 1400yold York minster or Castle Howard still the home of the Howard family some 800 years after it was built, the place where when cleaning some books in the library 2 years ago someone found a drawing worth $15m...Nice find eh?...:rotfl2:

If you can put up with us I would LOVE to come Yorkshire. One thing I have never done and I said I wanted to do before I die is travel outside of the States and Caribbean. You have an open invitiation to come over to our neck of the woods too. We don't have the Kentucky Derby but we do have the Saratoga Racetrack Travers Stakes.:rotfl:

Yes, parts are very beautiful but unfortunatley on our shore excursion they took us through the "hole". They have apparently electricity problems in the town where if too many people have their lights on at the same time all the power goes out. Also they hang cow heads in these open air deli's for good luck . I'm sorry but that was just plain YUCKY ! We finally reached our destination for our horseback riding excursion and the horse there must be mini's inbreed :rotfl:. I was one of the few with any riding experience and these horses were completley green ( untamed), People were in the foliage, in trees, stuck in fences, 2 miles in front or 2 miles behind, or on the ground :rotfl2:

I am so proud.. i refrained from asking the same redundant questions over and over!!!
YAWN...man alive I am tired.... I am thinking I should go home a bit early today and have a nap ( pinch me because I am obviously dreaming)
Couple of things..
PJ - I LOVE bowling...how did you break your toe?
Vital - Your son is absolutely gorgeous!! Cuter than heck!
Ohsodisney - Your girls have the most beautiful smiles...so completely photogenic! When was their birthday?
I decided that if everyone is bringing something.... that we are going to bring something from Canada...I am actually very very excited..but am trying to find that definitive Canadian thing...
I am bored silly today at work so I will be around!

01-24-2007, 10:44 AM
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl2:
That is entirely true..... But I meant that I would be the bearer of gifts...not the bear gift...:lmao:
So, we are still totally on the fence about what to do with flights and with coming early...
I would like to come a few days early...but then we can't use DCL flights, and then we won't get the free night hotel...even if we fly out on the 26th we would at least hopefully be able to go to MNSSHP. My thinking is if we plan the flights for ourselves then what additional costs are we really going to incur.
For example....I don't know what hotel to stay in..someone tell me the benefit of staying at one of the disney resorts

Thanks for sharing that as it reminds of my first trip aboard to spain about 35 years ago and my dear late mother took me my older brother and sister on a donkey trek, you see i was the first into the compound where the donkeys were kept but because they were all dirty and flee bitten i was the last to get on one,my brothers at that,so off we trot but like your trip they just did what they wanted,i wish i could share the visual vision of my mam cracking this poor things **** trying it get it to catch my sisters donkey....when she passed us she looked like Steve Cohen on affirmed about to win the triple crown....mums and their daughters eh.....:rotfl2:

Rhiluvsd. We have been going to Disney now for years. For me I find it much more relaxing knowing everything is taken care of. We use to stay off property on International drive. Last year was our first year on property and we will stay there everytime now. We got off the plane and didn't even have to get our luggage, went straight to the Disney Resort bus and off we went. We traveled throughout the complex using their buses which run every 15 minutes to anywhere you want to go. I know by staying onsite and using the transfers we will get to where we need to be. The All Star Music is our choice this time ALK was time , but ASM is much much more reasonable and I don't think for the 2 nights we are staying $223.00 is too bad. I am now thinking of adding on an extra night just because we are REALLY craming what we want to do into the 2 days.
OMG Chris thats too funny. :rotfl2: I really can picture it :rotfl
WOOHOOO , post number 500! Not sure exactly what that says about me ( Maria, Don't you have anything you need to do?) but I will celebrate anyways

01-24-2007, 01:36 PM
OOOOO, I have a headache that would kill a horse.
O.k I am not changing again
We just booked all of our flights, I change my fly in day to Wednesday because it was $60.00 cheaper per person to fly Wednesday instead of Thursday, so thats a savings of $240.00 of which we are using $111.67 for the extra night, that leaves us with an extra $129.00 and we are staying an extra day :yay: :yay: :yay:
Rhiluvds ,We chose to book directly through disney since they are able to tie everything together, air, hotel , transfers and such. Just seems less of a hassle.
I need a nap now :cloud9:

Myu house looks like after a nuclear fallout would! There is dust in cracks I didn't know existed! I'm going to have to stay with the ex-inlaws tomorrow night. They are going to finish the grouting and we shouldn't walk on it for 24 hours. I'm going to take the dogs to the vet and head on to work. I'm not going to be able to respond to y'all when I read your posts at work. Just know I'm here but have to remain silent!
Yes, I'm keeping the trip a surprise for Ethan. I'm going to have the truck loaded and pick him up from school and start driving. When he finally asks where we are going then I'm going to tell him! I may tell him right when he gets in so I can capture the look on his face with the camera! Then I'm only telling him we are going to WDW. I may try to keep the cruise a secret as well. Haven't really decided yet about that. OK, we are off to get pizza since there's so much dust in the air here! I'll be back later!pirate:

I just got home from "The Fridge". It's a tobbogan run at a local park that is very cool... or so I've heard. Noah went to the top... and wouldn't go on it! I had a feeling but at least he tried. Me, on the other hand... broke my tail bone while sledding in high school. I will NEVER get on one of those contraptions again! Just crap! Someone hit the magic lottery number and it wasn't me! Now it's back down to only 15mil. Oh well, I reckon I could live on that. Kinda sucks though.
I'm about to wake the dead A*K*A Ethan. I've got to pack for the night and take the dogs to the vet. Then I have to work, pick Ethan up and take him to the exinlaws, get my friend, go to spa, take friend home, go to exinlaws and go to sleep. Then I get up earlier since we'll have farther to drive to get E to school, go to work, get dogs, pick E up, come home to nasty, filthy, dusty house and start cleaning. Ain't life grand?
I'll be watching the posts from work, I try not to answer though. As long as we are just reading it's not considered chatting so I won't get in trouble. Y'all have a good day and night!

Good Morning everyone
I have to get the girls off to school as i am once again late. It looks like Holly decided to cut her hair a wee bit this morning giving herself a set of new bangs. More then likely this would be my fault since I too decided I wanted bangs again and I have been working on my new doo over the past 2 days. :rotfl2:

We have not decided yet, but either way, it is no problem for us to just drive over for a meet or for MNSSHP, I would actually like to go to that on Friday night since we will be pulling DD out of school for 5 straight days, which is the max amount of time we can have as EXCUSED. We defiantly will hook up though!!
I was at the dollar store today and picked up some suction hooks, magnet clips, a tinkerbelle magnetic dry erase board and my over the door shoe holder. I know the trip is a long ways away but it was fun to buy a few things, I am going to put a box in the bottom of our closet to start "packing".
I hope everyone has a great evening. I will be checking in, I am going to browse the threads and trip reports and just relax for awhile.

Hi Pam ,
It's never to early to pick up those type of things. Last year I made the best purchase ever for DH and myself. Its is the LL Bean organizers. WOW, it is amazing how much they hold hold , blow dryer, iron all my make-up, hair spray ( oh by the way my hair looks terrible when we cruise , it is so humid and I have alot of wicked thin hair, bascially it is a hat week for me), it also held all of my lotion , shampoos, conditioner, and medicine, girls stuff , EVERYTHING . Here is a link you have to check these out. They hang over the door or I think I hung ours on the shelving in the bathroom.
http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?page=personal-organizer&categoryId=34904&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&parentCategory=4525&cat4=2936&shop_method=pp&feat=4525-tn
I got the 5 day family size , DH the smaller version.
I am debating once again on the MNSSHP. Is it really worth it or will the girls enjoy just going to Magic Kingdom for the day. The price isn't that much more for the day.
I have to tell you all I was packed 2 months prior to leaving last time. :rotfl2: . Put clothes in the bag take them out, iron , put them back in the luggage take them out change my mind, put them back in and take them out to iron again , yes this was a weekly rountine for me but it kept me occupied :rotfl:

Kimmi, I am certain you are not up for "The Bad Mommy of the Year Award" . We are fortunate to have twins, they play so well together with hardly ever a fight, they really do keep eachother occupied. So usaully I don't feel to bad being on here.
They are starting to get use to Daddy being away every week, truth is me too :rotfl2: , Love him to pieces but I have a routine when he is away that gets bobbled up when he comes home. He is gone most of the Spring and Fall , some of the Winter and home in the Summer which is camping time so he is NOT allowed to leave then http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/campfire.gif

I am blessed that Noah has a wonderful imagination and plays well on his own! Being an only child... especially he's awesome when I have a migraine :headache: except for the time he colored the cat blue with markers!
I was in a migraine daze and woke up... saw the cat and thought he was blue... but imagined that it was just my head playing tricks on me!! OH MY... he had held the cat down, colored him good and blue with washable markers (thank GOD!!). The cat's tongue was blue for days while he licked himself back to the right color! :rolleyes1

The girls painted themselves blue when they were about 1 1/2, Every inch of their face, this was NOT washable, the poor things it took days and days to scrub of , I tried the Magic Eraser but it was making them red :rotfl: . Hi Everyone!! Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday Night!!!
Maria, Thanks for the tip regarding L.L. Bean, I will defiantly check it out.
My DH is also gone on business 4 days a week EVERY week and when he is home ( like now, because he has been sick) It throws my whole week off. I was teasing him today because since he has been home it seems as though I
can get nothing done. I am just so use to him being gone. I'll tell ya one thing though it sure has been great for us, we have been happily married for almost 15 years and we hardly ever fight. I think it is a blessing that we each still have a sense of independance.
I have started making my grand list of things to remember, pack, plan etc... I
am going to start a notebook so that I can over obsess about things LOL.
We will probably only do MNSSHP if it is a "meet" otherwise we will just probably skip it since it will be a late night and an extra expense for us. DD has been to MK a ba-zillion times so if we missed it she would be ok with that.
We could always just meet up a DTD or something.
Hope everyone has a great night. I'll be lurking around for awhile...that is until DH asks to have the computer back.

Early to bed, early to rise here. Something is wrong with my car, so its off to the dealer bright and early. Engine running, in the driveway, in park, and the speedometer says I'm going 55 mph (about 70 kph?) at 3500 rpm. Gauges are all over the map. If the volts gauge is right, I'm generating enough power for our house. :confused3

Good Morning
It looks like a busy day for us.
First and foremost , the gym !!!!. It has been 2 months since our membership expired so I will be so happy once I am back on the tread.
The girls have been asking constantly to go sledding. It is still a bit chilly but certainly not so cold as the past few days . We go to the local golf course and it was so funny because my girls think we are golfing today. We drove past there the other day and we asked "Do you remember what we did there?" Their repley "Golf" so yes they truely think we are golfing today :rotfl2:

I was very embarrased, but they just don't give ya a whole lot of choice do they? The chick from the crew staff came up & put a glowy necklace on me & said....you get to help me out later & I knew that meant TROUBLE. It wasn't too bad. I tell ya though, I hadn't had a drink since before dinner so I was in sore need of one. Wanna know what is not fair????? My hubby had been "chosen" the night before & they gave the men SHOTS before putting them on stage to help out their nerves...but did they give us ladies any alcohol???????? NOPE!!!!! It was fun, but silly & embarrasing at the same time.
Can't wait for more fun in Oct.....woo hoo :woohoo:
Wow we are quiet this weekend....everyone must be busy, busy, busy.

Wow , I have never seen weather this bad , even in our neck of the woods. The snow is coming down at 2 inches per hour. We must have 2 feet already . I left work early to get the girls at school and it was an early dismisal so my friend brought them home. We did 18 mph all the way home , yes a 30 minute drive turned into 1 1/2 hours. Accidents everywhere , highways closed. Oh, one good thing was my honey (neighbor) plowed me LOL :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh my god is my mind in the gutter today . Honestly while we were plowing he couldn't see a darn thing he was half way in my yard plowing grass. I am so greatful thou for such good neighbors and friends :goodvibes something that is sometimes hard to find nowadays.
I'll have to post pictures from the storm later.
Hope everyone is doing well .

Funny, my friends husband that plowed for me just brought me my boxes, :lmao: I wrote him this morning and said PSST , Barry's gone when are you coming over ? He wrote I can bring some boxes over at 1:30 , well he was late :rotfl2: You would have to understand the friendship we have, it is hilariuos. She is a potty mouth too. It is awesome to have freinds you are close with and can kid around like that, it seems so many take things too literal nowadays.

Is anyone else having a hard time posting? It may be due to our weather but I really can't tell.
Melanie , It seems to finally be coming to an end. Once again Thank God for my neighbor or I would be snowed in for days till Barry gets home. Looks as thou we have about 2 feet or so outside I think it may even be to deep for the girls to go outside and enjoy.
Wow, forgot to mention my manager at work was released from her postion, that was a huge shock ,she was like my Mom. She was there for 15 years and spent over 60 hours a week trying to finish loose ends 20 unpaid hours!. I have been asked if I would like to step back up to assistant manager , however I am not sure I want to dedicate all that time since I LOVE having my summers off with the girls. Guess we will see.
I am praying there is school tomorrow only so I can get back into the gym mode. I am working many more hours then usaul so gym time seems to be limited for the next few weeks. Oh, I did start back up on my funny egg, yogart, and chicken diet , for me it works really quickly , I already lost 4 pounds in 1 week. I have been drinking lots and lots of water, oh, yes and lots and lots of Mike Hard Lemonade and Limeade .
Anyone having a Superbowl party this weekend? We are having just a few friends over , drinking http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/eatdrink007.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org) and eatting stuffed mushrooms and chicken wing dip, chips http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/eatdrink051.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org) and playing cards http://www.buddy-icons.info/img/smile/2023.gif (http://www.buddy-icons.info/aim-smiles/Playing_Cards_Smiley.html#) is our Superbowl tradition.

Babs, we are North of Syracuse Ny. We get the Lake snow and the band parked itself right through us yesterday. At one time we were getting 5 inches per hour. In all my years lving here I have never seen anything like it. It was like someone dropped a solid white sheet in front of you. We did have some deaths due to car accidents, and a school bus flipped over. Thats my worst nightmare , and the reason I drive my girls to school and pick them up.
Has anyone seen the news today? I see another school bus flipped. I didn't catch much of it because I was on the tread mill and couldn't hear it. Those poor little ones I can't ever imagine.:sad2:

Just an update:

I am going solo
I live in the great Province of Alberta near Calgary (Yeehaw)
I am planning to fly in on the 24th, stay at the Wilderness Lodge and go to MNSSHP on the 26th. ( are any adults dressing up?)
I have first dining so I would like to link up with one or two from our group.
Has a place and time been decided to meet on board?
Is there a Ladies Palo brunch? What day?
Still deciding on excursions.

I know it's the Panama Canal and going to be an awesome cruise, but I can't imagine paying that much money and not go overseas! I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, it's just my personal preference. Then again, I'm a single mom and if I had another income, I might would consider it. Good Morning Everyone
Ronnie have a wonderful trip. Party for me
Sorry I have not posted much the past few days, work as been top priority due to all the new changes. This weekend is yet another busy one. We are celebrating mine and Dh Birthdays and yes, the SUPERBOWL party :woohoo: .
I am not sure what to do for his 40th. I was concidering getting a limo and going out on the town with a few friends. I would like to do dinner and hit a few bars(wow haven't said that in years), more then likely it will be a sports bar not the dance bar the girls and I would like to go to, but it is HIS 40th, not mine yet .
Hi greatwhitenorth, I did catch a few of your posts way back and was wondering where everyone disappeared to.
Hi Paula, I had the same problem before I met Barry. Seems as the bad boys were the only ones I attracted or the much older Sugar Daddys, one being a good friend, funny thing is he has a house on St Johns :) He actually found me a job in St Thomas and bought my tickets but I missed the plane , I also did the same when he got me tickets to Vegas. I think he finally gave up thinking I was a lost cause. :rotfl2:
Melanie , did you get the snow?
Hi Chris, I miss chatting with you in the morning :sad2:
Time to head off to work. Take care everyone :wave2:

I just got done reading what I would say is probally one of the worst trip reports I have ever read. I honestly give each and every person a chance but wow this one seems like it was more problems with her kids and sickness then anything else, it was just sorta bothersome to read. I do feel bad for her as I know sickness can ruin a vacation. The more trip reports I read the more I see that the ships seem to rock quite a bit. I remember the smaller ships way back when and honestly don't remember them rocking as much as the Disney ships. I always always take my natural dramamine and never have I had a problem. DH on the other hand elects not to take it until he feels sea sick which by then as you all know is too late, that you must take it 6 hours before sailing. The first night on our April cruise the ship was rocking so bad that the half the staff were sick , you know it's bad when that happens.
All I can say after reading some reports is THANK GOD we have wonderful little girls :) :) :) :) :) :)

Out of being conciderate of others I will not say the which cruise but I will say this. I am so glad I was not her tablemate or her husband :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 I would not have shown up for dinner either :scared1:
I know we all have ups and downs, we did on our RCCL cruise but it was not due to my kids, my husband or my personal problems , all and all it was an o.k cruise but I knew going into it the ship was quite old and I read reports on the entertainment so we made the best of it and we did end up having a good time. You get back what you make of it.

Good Morning All! It's finally Friday! Kimmielee should have her cable fixed today and be back with us!
I'm always amazed at some folks trip reports. If my kid did what I see/read about other kids doing, I'd be in jail for child abuse! But I know what PJ means. Somtimes people can put on a good front and smile like they are having a good time when inside they're not. If it is the same person, maybe she wasn't having the "perfect" vacation she had anticipated but was having a good time and didn't know it. Does that make sense? Sometimes people get so wrapped up in expectations that they just can't enjoy what is really going on instead of what should be going on. I dunno, I just take it as it comes and try to enjoy it. As I'm sure all of y'all will see on the cruise, Ethan and I will have our moments, and I expect them. If we don't have any, it's a pleasant surprise and makes the trip that much more enjoyable! I try to go in with low expectations and that way I can enjoy even the mediocre ones!
OK, enough of the philisophy! Can we go yet? I've lost 5lbs! WOOOHOOO!pirate:

Oops, no snow last night. Thanks TV Weatherfolks for that accurate forecast. :happytv:
So, one of the little things we do here at casa de PaDC: before going to bed each night, one of us -usually me :groom: sets up breakfast for the next day. When doing this, I try to rotate DW's tea and entree selections. You know, for variety. This morning, she's about to open her packet of English Breakfast tea when I hear, "Decaf?, I don't think so!" Uh-oh, it would seem I'd selected wrong tea product. :coffee: She quickly headed to the pantry, where she retrieved the correct product, and order was restored. At which time I said, "I have to tell our DIS friends about this." She laughed and said, "yes".

We are currently trying to get in touch with some members of my husbands "extreme show" club who live in the area. We will be heading there later today if we are unable to contact them. Our news and radio outlets are talking of nothing else. Please say a prayer if you are so inclined. According to what I have heard we are very fortunate that the tornado's did not do further damage.

Kimmielee, we can sympathize with the rodent problem. We are not dirty people but we have a cornfield behind our house. When the corn is harvested in the fall, the fieldmice seek warmth elsewhere. .:cold: That elsewhere was our house. They found our attic very hospitable. Once in a while we would hear them running around at night. party: Sean set glue traps and would catch a few each winter. Then one night we were awakened by them...a mouse was in the wall between our bedroom and bathroom. It must have fallen in there because it sounded like it was trying to claw its way out. We heard claw, claw, claw, then THUMP! (It fell back down). This went on for a little while - I don't know it the mouse gave up or we fell back asleep. We finally got fed up  and called in the professionals. First they trap/capture the animal to rid the house of unwanted visitors then they seal up & repair any openings. We've been mouse-free ever since. They only time we see a mouse is when we go to Florida: :mickeyjum
We got a thin coating of snow tonight. I thought that stupid Groundhog said Early Spring. He lives not too far away. I could probably drive there in an hour and drag that good-for-nothing varmint out of his hole and give him a piece of my mind.

Good Morning everyone! http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/greet013.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org) I'm off to pick up the popcorn that Noah will be selling for cub scouts, then clean.... do some DISing... then to church tonight! I do NOT have to work today! http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/happy057.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)
I started pricing our next cruise... gosh it's a tough decision!! Doing next years double dip Halloween cruise would be great but it's getting harder to justify pulling Noah out of school. Next year is second grade!
So... I'm thinking of cruising over Christmas. Leave Dec. 23rd - Noah won't miss any school and do 4 nights at WDW and the 7 night New Year's Cruise! That also allows me to only use 6 vacation days for 2008 and a couple days for 2009. OH MY GOSH... can I plan ANY FURTHER ahead? http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/confused013.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)
GREAT NEWS!http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/ad/groupwave.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org) Noah got his report card this past week. They don't give "grades" at this level... it's all numbers 1 to 4... 1 being EXCEEDS and 2 being MEETS standards. He got all 1's and 2's! http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/ad/wtg.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org) The teacher comments were awesome and he's already reached the reading level that he is supposed to achieve by the END of the school year. I text messaged Ronnie when I saw y'all talking about the storms here. I hadn't heard about them yet.
YAY Noah! Keep up the good work and your mom will HAVE to buy you something!
I think we're going to skip a cruise next year. Probably go to WDW during the summer for 10 days or so. It's still up in the air tho. I'd like to just stay around here *the beach is only 3 hour drive* and save some money, but I know Ethan will only be young once and I don't know how long he'll want to go to WDW. The beach will always be here, well, unless another Katrina comes. I don't know if it could recover again.
Anywho, we have to go get some paint for his pinewood derby car. He's going to stay with his dad tonight and I'm going to eat steak with the girls!
Oh, I have to get up at 0400 in the morning. I get to FLY on the medical helicopter all day tomorrow! My dream is to be a flight nurse, but the nurses/medics on AirCare LOVE their job and aren't going anywhere. I just get to fly and be an "observer" unless all hell breaks loose and they need an extra pair of hands.
With all the talk of rats/mice around here I just have to add my story. I went outside to get the paper this morning and noticed something on my doormat. Mamma Cat *her name per Ethan* had left me a nice surprise. A headless mouse! The head I found when I stepped on it!:scared1: She's a great cat. ALways leaving me presents. The boys came running up one day yelling "mamma cat has a big worm!" We all know it wasn't a worm. Thank goodness it wasn't poisonous.
I'll check back in later. Have a good day!pirate:

I was so over protective of Noah when he was little he didn't see BLOOD until he was almost 3. Daycare called because he scraped his knee and was hysterical! Category 7 again, perhaps on deck 6? We've read in the Passporter that the cat 7 rooms are 42" deep on deck 5 (where we are this fall), but 48" deep on decks 6 and 7. But then we thought: what about a cat 6? With the more open verandah. So, while :bride: starts lunch (pizza), I'm off to ask our DIS friends if anyone has stayed in a category 6? Category 7 again, perhaps on deck 6? We've read in the Passporter that the cat 7 rooms are 42" deep on deck 5 (where we are this fall), but 48" deep on decks 6 and 7. But then we thought: what about a cat 6? With the more open verandah. So, while :bride: starts lunch (pizza), I'm off to ask our DIS friends if anyone has stayed in a category 6? Did they enjoy it? 6 or 7, whichever we do, we'll probably get something in the aft. We don't mind bringing up the rear. :lmao:
Our first (and only so far) Disney Cruise was a Cat 6 with the open verandah. I LOVED it for so many reasons... nights when Noah crashed early, I sat out there with a drink and just watched the water and the moonlight. When it was early morning and he wasn't up yet, I had coffee and watched the sunrise. I tend to get a bit seasick... and fresh air is a MUST.

We had a category 7 on Deck 7 in December & really liked it. We were aft & we too really liked bringing up the rear....really close to get up those stairs to BBB & to the drink station etc.
On this cruise we booked a category 6 on Deck 6 aft. Woohoo.....can't wait for that full verandah.
Don't know if we will cruise yet in 2008.
I thought I planned early but some of you start even earlier than I do...must tell DH that as he is all the time making fun of me.

Just got off the phone with our TA. We're officially in a cat 6 on deck 6 for the 10/25/08 double-dip!
Now, if we can get everybody else to rebook that one on-board, the fun can continue.

:) HMMMM :scratchin Double Dip . We may concider it if my friend from Peru decides she wants to go next year. she tried to get on this cruise but her new baby will only be 2 months old and they will not take any children under 12 weeks in Flouders nursery :sad1: If not I have 2 double dips that have been heading South for quite sometime and I would like to move them back North :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: for my 40th.
Congrats Sean , would it have been cheaper for you to book onboard thou? I am not sure how that works since we have never done that.
Kimmi , I am so jealous , a cup of coffee and watching the world go by in the morning would be wonderful :coffee: I could probally sit there for hours on end.
CONGRATS:cheer2: TO NOAH !!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Our girls report cards read exactly the opposite 4 being the best, they both did wonderful with mostly 3 and a few 4's . I was worried we sent them to soon and I personally wanted to wait till next year, but we are pleased with their progress :)

We were wondering that, but PJ mentioned a good plan recently: book now, when the dates first open (usually lowest pricing). Check discounts and pricing while on-board. If cheaper, re-book then with discount and cancel previous booking.
The price for our cat 7 in 10/07 is about $70 less than what our 2008 cat 6 will be. (I think I saw where a cat 7 on the 10/07 cruise is now about $250 more than we are paying)
Accomplished today? Oh, there was laundry :laundy: ,grocery shopping, gas in the autos, and a whole lotta DCL planning! :woohoo: Just got the new Passporter, and have penciled in PJ's plaplap dining rotation, ports of call, etc into the calendar. Fine tuning Palo thoughts. Reading up on shore excursions.
