Winter storm due to hit here (and the entire Eastern US) starting this morning. Looks like 6-12" of snow, and ice. PennDot is already saying a worst cast scenario for the roads. Snow, sleet, freezing rain (for several hours), and then back to snow. Will be shutting down for a while.

Looks like the same storm will bring us 6 - 12 inches as well. I must admit, after the snow upstate NY has seen so far this year.... we are due! I just wish it wasn't going to jeapordize Valentine's Day for the kids!!

Hope everyone stays safe!

Chris... Did I read correctly? You are thinking of defecting to the U.S.?? Let me tell you... women are HOT  for men with accents. Hazel would have to keep a tight leash on you!

Melanie - I'm liking Mary Poppins... she's coming together just fine. I was going to be Mrs. Potts a few years ago for MNSSHP but oh my shipment box didn't make it to WDW until the day AFTER Halloween!! It was just as well because it was 80 degrees that night. Noah ended up being Peter Pan in lime green shorts because the pants were just toooooo hot.

I'm going to be a wench on Pirate night - also using it to stand up in Ronnie's wedding (he thinks I forgot he's getting married on the ship) but unsure what I'll be for Halloween. Hmmmmmmm..... I'm so far behind you guys!!!

Your right their little ones do look alot alike :)

I would think a box would have been much nicer. Definitley warmer :goodvibes

We were very fortunate that the the girls pretty healthy with narry a problem. Holly was in the NICU for 2 weeks , Kenna the bigger one was there for 3 weeks because should refused to eat, certainly didn't get that problem from her Mom or Dad.

No work for me today Chris. I am running the girls up to school, coming home to nap and then off to the gym around 2:00. McKenna has slight allergies that triggers her asthma at night so she was coughing away last night so I really didn't get much sleep. :cloud9: It only happens every so often , they are finishing her testing next month to see if she has to remain on Singular.

Well off to drop off the girls. I am staying in my jammies since I am going back to bed so it looks like one of those drop and run days. " Girls get out quick , open the front door get your packs climb over the seat and give me a hug and kiss" I don't want anyone seeing Mommy in her pjs. :rotfl:

O.K that part of my day is done.
Now for the nap portion :cloud9:
It's actually funny because they know when I'm in my jammies, they say "MOmmy are you in your pajamas or are you getting out of the car"? :rotfl:
I love Summer for this reason because any pair of shorts or tee will do, even if it is my night time attire noone would know :)
I really miss walking the bridges in the morning. My friend and I walk 4 miles every morning or afternoon, but right now since we have so much snow they sidewalks are not clear enough to enjoy it.

Oh no chris , my honey never wears one . Never did on any of our past cruises and probally never will on any future ones either. We even make a point of booking Palo on fromal night so he can avoid the tux. I on the other hand will wear a short coctail dress or if the gown I have been eyeballing goes on sale then I'll wear one. We always go just to enjoy the vacation and honestly do not find the excitement having to get all gusseyed up. Plus Barry hates hearing me trying to get ready " Damn hair", damn damn hair", these stupid worthless blowdryers, my hairspray doesn't seem to be working, do I look fat in this, where my perfume? Are the girls ready honey, did you do their hair? :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I'm home ok. Chris gets out at 7pm. Roads aren't too bad yet. But are supposed to get significant icing tonight. Our first real storm of the winter. The other 2 have only put down a dusting to an inch. Have already indicated to Christine that I won't be wearing a tux. Time for dinner, and to clear the driveway, phase 1.

Chris.........my DH doesn't want to do the tux either, so we will probably do Palo on formal night as well. He did a suit for Palo in Dec & says that as dressed up as he's getting.

Thanks for the :goodvibes: about my MP costume. Now the hard part finding a skirt & shirt & suitable shoes.....oh my.

Sometimes I am so glad this board is here. We just got some bad news that DH Uncle Jerry passed away. He was so close to us and the girls. Apparently he went into the hospital over the weekend and wasn't feeling well, the Dr's told him he is o.k to go home he said no he really would like to stay and rest. Yesterday they said he had cancer and today he is gone. This is so amazing to me because last week he went to the casino with the and was his usual silly joking self, the guy was non stop jokes. The strange coincidence is DH Dad passed away 11 years ago same month, very quick, and before the first Grand baby was born, same as Jerry, oh and at the age of 60. Way too young
Barrys side of the family .

Jerry front left. Also known to the girls as Pop Tart Jerry, or coupon King, the whole family would go shopping in his cellar and Jerry would be pushing the pop tarts :)
We do the Jerry Earlfest every year at Six Flags.

Apparently Ronnie is getting married! I'm going to be the best woman. Just stick around to hear the toast:lmao: !

I flew on the helicopter again today. We went to a ribbon cutting ceremony at a hospital south of here. They were celebrating the opening of the new helipad. Well, while we were there the cold front came through and dropped the ceiling (clouds) so we had to fly in the clouds all the way back. It was so windy, we were getting bounced around like a whiffle ball in a wind storm. I was just about to blow chunks when I remembered that if I did, the guys I was flying with would never let me live it down. I had to concentrate harder that I have in a long time not to puke. The guys called it spacial disorientation. Said they all did it until they got used to it. I was trying to explain it to Ethan and he just didn't get it. I told him imagine the Tower of Terror and he got it then. I knew that ride was good for something!pirate:

PJ, Barry said he would prefer to spend the day drinking with Chris so you can take him off so if anyone else wants to go ask PJ if there will be room.

I'm sure I will be on the boards tomorrow but just in case heres a special little card for you all :)

I can't believe this but once AGAIN I get a call from the school at 12:00 that we are dismissing early due to the weather. Now what bothers me even more is they are not letting them out till 2:00 so they can get their State aid. Seems to me there is no woories for the kids and their safety just money http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_19_4.gif

I am leaking steering fluid so I called and asked if the girls can take the bus home they said NO because they haven't been on the bus in awhile WHAT ? O.K would you prefer me to crash the car or have them safe on the bus. My friend Deb, always the life saver is going to bring our girls home for me, Thank God for her http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_22_25.gif

It's cold here too....I think it's supposed to be 12 or 13. No snow though. I am having a terrible time trying to figure out what to pack for Nashville. We are staying at the Hermitage downtown & will be within walking distance of most of the things we want to do...but it might be too cold to walk around much. Can't wait though I am really excited. I get to have afternoon tea in the lobby of the Hermitage on Saturday .

Hope all had a good, and safe, Valentine's Day. I didn't get DW flowers, chocolate, or dinner out. Instead, I attempted to drive her to work. She works about 15 miles south of home, down the interstate. Took over 20 minutes to get to the highway, when normal is under 10. Saw 2 accidents happen in front of us on the way. :scared1: Got down there only to get stuck in the snow/ice/slush at the bottom of the hill to her pharmacy. After getting unstuck, spent quality time in the local grocery store. They decided to declare the store closed around 1145 (we left home at 0815 for an 0900 opening, which we were only 5 minutes late for). Didn't get home until about 1:15. At which time, I got stuck trying to get into the driveway. A neighbor helped dig me out, and we went inside for lunch. Bad idea: the temp dropped another few degrees while inside. When we attempted to attack the ice/snow just over an hour later, it was all frozen. Did the best we could, had dinner, and went to bed early. Got plowed in. It was like a wall of steel this morning. I got up like I was going to work at 0600, but my real start time was 0700. I needed every minute. Had to wake sleeping beauty :cloud9: to help breach the ramparts. She chiseled a niche during the day, which I widened tonight. I feel bad for those poor souls stick on I-78. Some have been there for over a day. Mom/Dad got about 2 feet in Binghamton area, and their roads are fairly clear, from what I'm told. Ours weren't re-plowed today, while it was sunny and the stuff was mushy. So, back to skating rinks tomorrow. Most schools have closed again already. Worst thing about this weather: limited DIS time :disrocks: and no trip planning time :sad2:
But now, a 3-day weekend for me :groom: . With the tax meeting tomorrow

Good Morning! I hope everyone stays warm today! Just think, only a few more months until we go. I was thinking how time is going to start flying. Next we have spring break, then Easter. Shortly after that school will be out and it will be Memorial Day. Then comes summer with July 4th, not far after that school will start back and football season starts. Ethan's birthday is Sept 1st so I'll be planning for that also. Then BOOM! It's October and we are off on our long awaited adventure! So, when you look at it like that, it's not too far away! pirate:

I loved Denny  he was a big sweetie. I don't know in a way I think it is time to kill off someone on that show. Wasn't she sick just a few episodes ago also? This way it may take show in a new direction instead of so much focus on the love lives between the 3. I also need DRAMA :rotfl2:

Melanie, i'm soooo jealous , have a wonderful time and think of us :)

We have decided against traveling today. It is aweful out and school is closed AGAIN , WOW thats almost 2 weeks. Unfortunately Jerry's funeral is this weekend so I am very upset about that, but it isn't worth taking the chance. My sister went off the road in her 4 wheel drive so you know it's bad then.
We have well over 4 feet of snow and my poor little trees I planted last year are almost covered :sad1:

Pam, are you sure you didn't have salmonella from the peanut butter outbreak? There's been some cases of it here. I buy the organic stuff so luckily we don't have to worry about it.

*** is wrong with Brittany Spears? Did you see her shave her head? She is from a smmmmmaaaaaaaaaallllllllll town south of here. I guess all the money and fame is too much for a small town gal. Everytime we go there, I wonder how in the world someone that has made it so big could come "home" after being in LA. Must be a strange existance.

Thanks for the well wishes!! We use natural peanut butter too, so no worries there. I tested positive for strep and mono, the doctors guessed at Norwalk since I had most of the symptoms and 2 other people who I had come into contact with also ended up extremely sick ( Norwalk they think) They were members at the Y where I work and they had used my office for a meeting. Not sure where the Mono came in, except I substitiute teach for my daughters school and am also around teens at the Y. The strep has been going around and my DD had it. I am so glad to be feeling alive again, even though I am only drinking soups for now, atleast I can get up and move around. I am sleeping alot, and my stamina is lousy!!

I am going to try and sit here awhile and CUOP. I ended up going to bed last night after posting.

Thanks again for your thoughts!! I can't wait to get in to cruise mode again!!!

Recently back from seeing a play at the local theater: Tony & Tina's Wedding. We just spent another hour dealing with the ice. The cultivating fork is a significant advancement in our technology. Sidewalk and front porch still lost causes, but 80% of the driveway in front of the house is clear. And more of the driveway is now exposed. The stuff is so compacted, I can walk into the back yard without so much as leaving a footprint. Spent most of the outside time clearing out the mailbox of our next door neighbor. Normally, their driveway and street would be spotless by now. Only about 3 feet of driveway is clear, so it must be a bad idea for them to tackle the ice. We like all our neighbors, and all try to look out for each other.
DC100: we're glad you're feeling better. :goodvibes

We just got back from seeing Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage. All I can say is WOWZA! That was a good movie! It has some jump out at you scary moments, but Ethan giggled when they were over b/c it made me jump too. Probably too intense for kids under 7, I had to explain a lot to E......but then again this kid goes to the haunted houses on Halloween with me:lmao: That movie "Bridge to T.......*don't remember* was getting out at the same time. Glad we didn't see it as there were a lot of kids crying and parents talking to them. Sheeesh. Not how I'd want to spend my Saturday afternoon!

Oh, we went to eat sushi before the movie and E usually gets the chicken teriyaki. Well, today he gets that and then decides to try one of my sushi rolls. He ate all but 2 bites of it. Good you say? Not good b/c I only ordered 2 rolls! :rotfl2: I had to half his meal also b/c I was still hungry! I'm proud of us b/c we only got a drink to share in the movies.

Well today I am physically impaired. I am going again to the YMCA but just to hopefully loosen it up and walk it off. Looks like Flex All will be my best friend today. On a good note not that I need to be much skinnier, I now down to 120 :yay: just about where I like to be. I told Barry 118 yesterday and he sorta flipped out on me so I changed it to 124 that night :lmao: I am one of the lucky few that can lose 10 pounds in 3 days.

Tomorrow is our best friends DD's B'Day party and I am not looking forward into the mile hike we have to make to go sledding. The snow here is over 4 feet in some spots and 3 in others due to the blowing snow.

Wow, it's sunny and 17 degrees. We are having a HEAT WAVE!! :goodvibes I did a lot of running around yesterday, church was awesome (again) and turned in kinda early last night....

Today feels like Saturday since I don't have to work tomorrow! :cool1: My office is open but Noah is off of school and daycare is closed for "training". We are going to go visit my Aunt that had the stroke in December to see how she's doing and take her to lunch.

Today... it's either a movie, putt putt (indoor of course) or bowling. David is up north with his daughter (she lives about 4 1/2 hours north of us). She's 12 and her name is Noelle. Yes (for those inquiring minds) things are going very well for us, but it's not time yet to introduce one another to our children. I tend to be a bit overprotective of Noah's heart in that respect. I can handle breakups, broken hearts, etc... but I don't want to expose him to that if I can avoid it. So... I have to be certain things are heading in the right direction first. So far, so good. Still no red flags...I'm doing my best to keep things in perspective and not rush into this. He's such a sweet and caring man.

The merger is still causing drama at work... :headache: The other companies VP of sales stopped by on Thursday to "speak" with me. She said she had heard I was telling their UW's to start looking for jobs. I NEVER said anything of the sort! Needless to say, I need a nice long weekend to get away from that crap!:upsidedow

Has anybody heard from Ronnie to confirm which day his wedding is to be held on? I'm sure he's inviting all of us... and since Paula and I will be standing up as his "best wenches" we MUST coordinate our schedules and outfits. I need information!!!

Happy Sunday everyone! :flower3:

I bought a new rug for the living room so now I can do my Pilates again. It's kinda hard to do it on tile floor. That's why it hasn't been done in a loooooong time! pirate:

With all the ice and cold weather, Christine and I decided it was time for our emergency DCL fix. We saved 1 packet of shampoo and 1 packet of lotion from our 2005 cruise. Today, we got them out, and are putting them into service. Ahhh, the smells of a Disney Cruise.... :cloud9: This is similar to how we keep an extra box of Thin Mints in the freezer until late Summer/early Fall. When you get those GS cookie cravings.
In other news...2 Disney shows have been sighted on the TV schedule for this week on the Travel Channel. 5pm and 6pm East Coast time on Thursday, 2/22.

By all means, get those glutes massaged! It will make them feel better.

Christine will be excited to have a potential Pilates Partner in Vital on the cruise. She does it on a fairly regular basis. I do some Pilates/Yoga style moves I've picked up from watching her and reading the magazines at the gym. She did 2 private Pilates sessions on our 2005 cruise, and really enjoyed them. The instructor helped her with her technique, and Chris could feel the difference. She's really looking forward to 7 days of classes on this cruise.

Sean . Christine will have another pilates friend since I am dying to try it. I am looking into some yoga classes at the Y.
I am not sure I want anyone near my glutes right now :lmao: I tried to put some Flex All on my legs thighs and **** and I only have one serious warning to you all. DO NOT get it anywhere near your bikini area :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Paula is your whole house tiled? See we are not use that since cold tile would definelty not work up here in the Great White North. Many people who install tile up here put in radiant heating under the tiles, which is very very costly.

I just had to brag on myself. I got up at 0430 and did my pilates! I'm on my way to the awesome bikini I saw yesterday in Target! Sean and Christine, I may do one class, but when I'm on vacation, I don't exercise much unless y'all inspire me to do so!pirate:

Maria, my house is all tile except the bedrooms and hallway. It's much easier to manage with 2 dogs and a boy who thinks the world is his yard!

I'm so excited! It's going to be in the 60's and 70's here this week! But that means it's getting to be tornado season. I'll take my chances for some warm weather!

Well, I think Mississippi is the only state where the state employees have to go to work today. Oh well, it'll keep me frome eating all day. I'm trying the semi-Atkins diet this week so if I'm rude or snippy, it's from lack of sugar! I'll be going through withdrawls especially since we've been ODing on girl scout cookies this week!

Have a good Monday!pirate:

Good Morning!!

It's 34 degrees here near the "World". For us that is SUPER DUPER COLD!! I think it is suppose to warm up into the high 50's though.

Maria: The snow looks absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!! I know I wouldn't be able to function at all in it, but it is gorgeous to look at. ( maybe thats because I was born and raised in FL. so I have only "visited" snow LOL..

Kimmielee: How wonderful that your dates are going well. It is awesome that you guard Noah so well. I have a dear friend that keeps bringing home "potentials" then in a few months they disappear. It breaks my heart to see her young son lose these "friends" every few months. But my advice falls on deaf ears there so what can ya do?

No school today. I am glad to hear so many of you mention the Y. That is where I work. I am a Program Director/Camp Director ( in the summer). I LOVE my job. I also do alot at my daughters school since my Y job allows me to basically come and go as needed.

Have a wonderful day everyone. I think DD is about to get up, I here some rustling..............

Oh my gosh, I do exactly the same thing!! It's funny when you find the piece of paper a few days or weeks later... :lmao:

Well, today... Oh and one question that Paula and I have for everyone else... in building our talent show group.... we still have the positions of Policeman, Indian and Construction worker open... any takers? http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/merv/ymca.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

We are back from Nashville. We had a great trip....it was really cold & snowed all day Saturday..not much accumulation but wow was it cold walking around sight seeing.
Here is my favorite picture from the trip.
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b147/Disneygrl36/100_3181.jpgThis is at the state Capitol.
Here is one at the Grand Ole Opry..this is country music star Lori Morgan.
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b147/Disneygrl36/100_3203.jpg
Staying at the Hermitage was wonderful. It is downtown & close to lots of intersting places...walking distance to the honky tonks, the Ryman auditorium & the Country Music Hall of Fame. It was a BEAUTIFUL hotel & very comfortable.

Now.....can we go on a Disney Cruise yet?????

Kimmielee...so glad to hear about your 2nd date going well.
Maria so sad that you are still buried under all that snow....the state of Tennessee would be shut down & a state of emergency declared with all that white stuff. :lmao:
Chris...sorry to hear about your Aunt's loss but that is kinda a cool story about her.
Paula I'm with you...not much for excercising on vacation...here's my idea of excercise for the cruise. :drinking1

Chris, so sorry for your loss. It's good to remember all the happy times you had.

Melanie, glad you had a good time! I'm thinking of working my right arm out a little more so I'll be prepared for the excessive curling! Just kidding, I wish I could say that again. I have a child now so I need to be somewhat good.

Went to boyscouts tonight. We are going to Baton Rouge this weekend and spending the night on the USS KIDD. It's an old destroyer that's commissioned there now. After everyone gets on, they raise the gangway and no one can get on or off. There's gonna be a lot of men there. Heh, too bad they are all married!

I'm ready to go on the cruise! NOW! LOL! Ethan keeps watching the Disney planning DVD from last year and saying, "we did that, i want to do that again!" It's really killing me not to tell him we are. I know it'll all be worth it in the end!

Oh, my cruise is now paid for! I got more back on my taxes than I thought! Woohoo! Now just to save for the room and spending money!pirate: I was also reading about upgrades. I'm hoping since my category (9) is such a popular one that since I booked early I'll be more likely to get an upgrade. Like I've said before, I'm happy just where I am but who wouldn't want an upgrade to a verandah!

Oh, I know this is a Disney site and all, but I've been looking into flying to the Beaches Resort on the Turks and Caicos. It looks like paradise! It's all inclusive so you don't have to pay for a thing. I may have to do a girls only trip to the adults only one. I've tried to talk some of my galpals into going to a Hedonism one but they are all skeerdy cats! Google both the Beaches on and the Hedonism one. If I go with Ethan, it'll be Beaches, if it's an all girls, I might book it and not tell them where we are going until we get there!pirate:

Eskimo update :cold: I can see grass in some spots. The sun and almost 50 degree temps in the middle of the week helped to reduce the piles. Almost 100% of the driveway is clear. C attacked the sidewalk yesterday. It is about 60% visible. Front porch is now passable.
Don't know the statute of limitations on the dog house. Hope its a short stay. Tell Hazel its more $$$ to spend with the Mouse. And that you're changing your hotel ressies (all stars now, right?) to her favorite resort.
It seems like we've all hit a bit of a wall. Falling to page 2. Getting tired of the winter weather. Asking if we're there yet.
It is time to cruise plan! :cheer2:
I suggest we meet in the Promenade Lounge (deck 3) at 2:45 on embarkation day. To meet and greet. I've read some threads that indicate this is a good place and time.

Christine thought it would be neat to exchange some small, inexpensive token of each group's hometown areas. Something representative of where you live. For example, we might bring: something Harley-Davidson related (largest plant is here), Hershey's chocolate (I think this will get some votes :thumbsup2 ), Amish country stuff.

Palo brunch: already covered by PJ
t-shirts: Kimmielee and Vital had some ideas, I recall.

We still have a few feet of snow but the walkway and driveway is now clear, thats a start :) The other day I got that funny Spring is around the corner feeling. It looks like the weather will stay in the upper 30's and 40's for a bit  We can't wait to open the pool and just lay around for the Summer AAAAHHHH :beach: A drink in one hand and hamburger in the other :goodvibes

HI,

Kimmielee..........The WE is myselff, DH DS (14) and DD(11).
It will be our first cruise as a family only DH has been on 1 cruise before years ago.

We are excited and we talk about it most every day. I sometimes think we are nuts, and then i come here and know, if we are nuts, we are certainly not the only nut in the can!

Thanks for your hospitality.

Promenade lounge sounds good for a meet to me....did Goofy pool get mentioned as well????

What are we going to do for Halloween........besides dress up?? I'm still up for a trick or treat for the kids around to our cabins.

Chris so sorry about your cancelled plans. I hate it when that happens. Hope you aren't in the dog house/deprived too long :roftlf:

MARIA.......NO WAY!!!!!!! You are a Mooner & with us you must come!!!! End of discussion.

Kimmielee....man that cooks. :thumbsup2 Mine used to cook for me when we were dating but rarely does anymore.

Now Chris , I only drink maybe once a month , well maybe a little more but my MODO is drink to get drunk. So if you see me with a bevy you will soon see me stumbling around the ship shortly after :rotfl2:

I am really trying to figure out how to buy a new set a ****s and do this trip too :lmao:More so is the car and camper, the girls just told me they want a camper instead. I did talk to my parents about it and they said either way is fine with them they actually brought up just Disney or a cheaper cruise but I am not into that idea much.

Well off to have my Margarita , just kidding, I can't have 1 till DH gets home as he needs to pick up the sour mix , ours is bad I guess I was suppose to refregerate it., who knew :confused3

Bolied eggs are done , time to make them deviled . :)

Ronnie, I had heard but didn't realize that was YOUR company! The best advice I can give is to work hard, stay focused and the strong will survive!! :thumbsup2

Things are less tense in my office, finally. I think everyone has settled down a bit. Some of the underwriters that work for the company we bought USED to work for me and won't be welcome back. How do you make them? He said OUT OF A BOX!! Eeeeewwwwww... so I promised to make the mashed potatoes if he made the meatloaf!

Looks like we are definelty going since I am not able to get any money back on the airfare apparently it is non-refundable.
I am still getting my new woohoo's and instead of an SUV we down are downgrading to a Santa Fe in the fall and pushing this SUV till then.

We had such a wonderful, relaxing but productive day. Deb, Greg Barry and I went to the YMCA for a light workout then we went back to their house and Deb and I walked 4 miles up to Greg's Basketball game. Unfortunaelty I blew my workout since afterwards we went to Burger King and I had Chile a hamburger and french fries. :)

I can feel Spring is in the air  :yay:

Since Mickey is on the shirt, unless Kimmie's sister is willing to do them, we would have to do these at home.

A great place to pick up blank shirts is, http://www.cheapestees.com/ . We could agree on a brand and pick a couple of colours. They have shirts from very little ones all the way up to 3xl.

How do we turn the graphic into something to put on a T shirt? It's my cousin in GA... I'll email him and see if he has any objections and the cost, but if there is a fast/easy/economical way to do them at home... I'd vote for that first!!! :thumbsup2

Ok, I have to know how you girls have talked DH's into letting you get new hoo-hoo's. I don't want new ones, just want the existing ones hoisted up, but he won't have any part of it. :lmao:

Oh, i didn't have the instructions for washing last year, opps! I put it in a hot dryer always bad. If i had air dried it, it would have been fine. Wash inside out then air dry. Before transferring, wash the shirts with vinegar, it cuts the sizing on the shirt for better transferring.

Ok.... Ladies.... I believe it's been Pam and Melanie that have made the statement about getting new wooohooo's. Hi Pam and Melanie . It was actually pretty easy DH is very very good to me. I told hm that he would be the one to benefit from new woohoos' :rotfl2: :lmao: . I am getting them hoisted also but to do that they will probally have to put in a D cup implant. since I am already a C. I wrote Dr Rey to see if he would be at all interested :rotfl:

OMG, I can see the trip reports now. Hopefully we don't go back and reimince about what we were all talking about before the cruise :rotfl2:

I am hoping someone is going to be doing the shirts since ya all know I don't have a tiney tiny stitch of Martha in me, seriously!

pjpoohbear
02-25-2007, 08:10 PM
Lime green would really be considered a dark colour, the dark colour transfers are printed on a white background, the light colour transfer are printed on a clear background. To make colours pop, best to use dark colour transfers on all shades of shirts.

Well, I had my practice for our cruise last night! I slept with 90 males and on top of 2! Get your minds out of the gutter, this mean YOU Ronnie! We spent the night on a destroyer on the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge! It was awesome! The USS KIDD, better known as the Pirates of the Pacific! I thought it was fitting for us. I was on the top "rack" out of 3. The wind was blowing and it was in the 60's until that horrible storm came and they put us all below deck. I had a freak out moment when they were closing the hatch. I yelled, "Whoa, whoa, WHOA! How am I supposed to get out of this tin can when I start to freak out from being closed in (not to mention we were under a severe thunderstorm warning)" The guy laughed and gave me directions to the OTHER hatch, which I knew nothing about. Made my look like an ****, but that's OK, there were others thinking it but nobody would speak up. It was fascinating to see how they lived on that ship. It is restored to it's WWII era. I asked the guides about any ghostly encounters and they told me very few but showed me where they were all reported and let me go in there alone. I took some pics and we'll see what comes of it. I felt a few strange sensations but no sightings. I felt someone standing behind me a few times and the hair on my neck stood up, but I wasn't scared at all. I'm weird, I know. I was actually hoping to have an experience. Oh well. Their website is www.usskidd.com. Go check it out. It was awesome!

Gonna get up and exercise in the morning. It's been in the high 70's all week and making me realize I'm going to run out of time!

Hope y'all have a good Monday!pirate:

Ok.... Ladies.... I believe it's been Pam and Melanie that have made the statement about getting new wooohooo's. You have to know that wooohooo's in my families vocabulary is the same as a virginny or better known as the birth canal..... WHAT in the world are you ladies referring to since clearly you aren't getting new birth canals??? :lmao:  :rotfl2:

Pam, thank you so much for the offer. If it is something I can just iron on I may be o.k, however I am sure there will be lots & lots of permanent wrinkles.:rotfl:

Paula , that sounded like an amazing time. I would absolutley have the time of my life doing something like that. I think I have said before I am the type that seeks out things most will not. If there is a noise in the house I try to go find it , open closets , open shower curtains, look under beds. I have no idea what I would do if someone was actually there but I know I would find them :thumbsup2

Barry has to take away my computer today to put in a burner so i may not be checking in again till later this evening.

Got my very own Disney Visa today so I can start charging gas and groceries and everything else LOL, gotta rack up those reward points:wizard:

Did you guys request a specific room?? I gave my TA a "list" of a few specific rooms I was interested in and a few that were rated poorly on the stateroom review that I DO NOT want, but their is no room # attached to my ressie when I look it up?? Should I call my TA. We booked a Category 9, and requested Deck 2 Midship, starboard side.

Hope everyone is having a GREAT night!!!!!!!!!!

We are a Cat 9, Deck 2, midship on the right side (uh, don't know port from starboard at the moment!) Maybe y'all can be our neighbors! I'm hoping since we booked in July that we may get a bit of pixie dust and be upgraded to a balcony, er, verandah. I'm sure it won't happen so that's why I booked what I wanted!

I just had to wash my dog outside. I'm glad it's in the 60's or she would've slept out there. I couldn't even tell what color she was! They run one side of the fence since our neighbors have dogs also and there is a trench that is mud after it rains. It's funny b/c she does it all day and my Boxer could care less. He has white paws and would prefer to keep them that way!

Going to bed early tonight. Still tired from the weekend, all that testosterone kinda wears on ya. Heh.

Have a good night everyone!pirate:

Going to David's for dinner tonight... I won't be home 'till late, late, late... Sarah is staying the night tonight with Noah, so that's good.:goodvibes

On Saturday... Noah is going to a friends house for the night and David and I are going to drive about 2 hours north to a wonderful place called the "Thomas Edison Inn". Good luck Kim! I'm so excited for you! I hope everything turns out just the way you want it!

I lost a LOT of weight a couple of years ago doing the Power 90 routine from Beach Body. I started doing it again today. I didn't realize how out of shape I am. I used to be able to breeze through the 4th level and now I get winded on the first. Kinda put things in perspective for me. I MUST exercise again to keep healthy. I guess looking good should be second, but it's hard in today's society not to think about it. This routine is cardio/abs which includes power yoga, aerobics and kick boxing. You do it 3 days a week and the other 3 days you do weights with one day rest. It's a kick **** workout and not boring b/c it's constantly mixing things up. I lost about 30lbs last time I did it. People couldn't believe I lost that much, they thought I didn't have that much to lose until I did it. I hide it well.

Well, off to shower. It's great to get exercise out of the way for the day so now I can play when I get home!

Oh so depressing :sad2: Well the Dr said I can get a good lift if I want to look like Anna Nicole or Pam Andersson.:lmao:
This may be my only option since the lift and fill is way way pricy. I can go back later and do the lift. Now i honestly don't know what I'm going to do. First he wanted to do the implant , lift and threads. WHAT is he nuts? I am actually not that bad in fact I thought I was coo-coo just thinking about it. They said I can get an appiontment in May so I do hae a fews days to ponder this.

Maria, sorry you got confusing news. I am having a reduction and a lift. I have not yet picked a doctor but have several friends who have had the procedure and will probably go to someone they recommend. My insurance will cover it due to back strain. I am continuing to lose over 100 pounds so that has made the "girls" a little LOW LOL, (note to self: Why am I discussing this on DIS, I don't even know these people:rolleyes1 ) anyhoo............. HEHE Pam , Thats the question I ask , Why on the dis boards am I talking about my woohoo's , but honestly thats just me and I talk about just anything and I am pretty much never embarassed. I think my friend Deb rubbed off on me a little too much :scratchin I am who I am . I feel like a 20 year old trapped in a 38 year old body  I hope our girls are as open also. They have already seen lots and lots of pics of augmentions and lifts (no idea what it really is except hooters) and quite truthfully it's a natural body part that they should NEVER be ashamed of. Even the nude beach on St Marteen wouldn't bother them a bit. I also hope when they get older that they feel they can come to me about anything at all.

OMG speeking of. Did anyone see that 1 out of 4 women have the HPV? :scared1: , now this is some scary stats. Dear lord seems everytime I turn around something else is affecting the female population.

Chris, Pam is right you are hysterical!!!!!:rotfl: :lmao: and thats why I love ya babe :)

Paula the weight loss is super. Keep it up. I know with the gym it is always hard to get back into a rountine and many days I don't feel like going but once I am there and get past the first 15 minutes I am fine.

My diet is pretty much sucking right now the eggs and yogart are not doing it for me anymore and I know at any moment I am going to crack and eat a gallon of Ben & Jerrys. Today was 2 granola bars, 3 yogarts, 3 deviled eggs, a few bits of cheese, and way way too much water, I feel like a damn walking fish tank and if I were to swallow a few guppies :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: they would probally live just fine in me for a few weeks. :rotfl: :lmao:

Kimmielee.........how exciting. Sounds like a super fun & romantic weekend. Can't wait to hear how dinner went tonight. :thumbsup2:

Paula....that sounds like a great work out. I have the FIRM & have been neglecting the whole excercise part of loosing weight for far too long. I've lost about 45 lbs over the past year & know I could loose the rest alot faster if I would just excercise consistently. I love doing it ONCE I get started, it's just the getting going that is hard for me.

Pam....we did the exotic rasul on the 4 night Wonder....if you want to read about it you can in my trip report...there is a link in my siggie. The rasul stuff is on page 3. We really enjoyed it.....it was worth the price. If we don't do the spa suite thing this time we will definetly RASUL again.

Maria...I'm confused too!!!! What do you think you will decide to do????

Chris........you are so funny!!!! I must tell you that I read you with an English accent in my head. Can't wait to hear you speak in person.

pirate: I had once considered getting a pair of tata's but after I had to go with a doctor to tell a husband his wife died from a fat embolus (clot) after liposuction I decided it wasn't for me. It sucks seeing the rare, and I do mean RARE, complications sometimes. Besides, I can wear some of the cutest tank tops without a bra and no one can tell when I'm in a baggy t-shirt! I also won't be kicking them out of my way when I'm a little blue haired old lady!

Thanks for all the words of encouragement. It makes me mad that it takes so much for me to get motivated. I KNOW if I would exercise the weight will fall off. I could starve myself and not lose an ounce. It's weird how different our bodies are. When I'm in my routine, I can eat what I want and still lose weight as long as I'm moving.

Well, I'm tired since my routine has become getting up at 445 AM and doing my exercises. I'll check back in the morning!

I think I know what you are talking about but I don't want to elaborate in case I'm wrong. I will say this, I will be waxing before we go.

Just got finished doing the body sculpting part of the workout. Those squats kick my ****. I know that's what they are supposed to do, but good grief! I've been taking the stairs at work for everything. I even went UP from the basement to the 5th floor! I had to stop at the top landing to catch my breath, but I did it!

It's been beautiful here, in the high 70's so I've been playing basketball with the boys after work. They don't take any pity on their elder either!

Oh KIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMM. How did it go last night?pirate:

Well, can I just say I am EXHAUSTED!!! I didn't get home until 1:30 or so. We had a wonderful night... he made meatloaf, I made mashed potatoes (which he LOVED) and we ate by candlelight...

It was a wonderful night and Paula... I need your "list" of what you wouldn't be doing to see if I did anything I shouldn't have done???? :lmao:

He's sweet, romantic, caring, sexy and I'm afraid my heart is in jeapordy! I could fall for this man!

I can honestly say I didn't even feel this way about my ex and I married his sorry butt!!! :rotfl2:

We are talking about the right time to meet Noah. Noah is going to instantly tag him as DAD material and that's a lot of pressure for everyone.

I'll post more later and catch up. I'm feeling left out on the wooo hooo surgeries.... :rolleyes1 I kinda like mine the way they are.... pretty sure someone else does too!

Alas, most likely not. I'm taking Sarah, our sitter and wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable with a man in the room! :goodvibes
