I've been up since 4:30 this morning, so this is me :surfweb: But I don't know if I remember this from a past visit or what, but is there a benefit to booking your next vacation before you leave WDW?

We stayed at AKL in Aug. 2003 and we did a DCL cruise in April 2004. It seems I remember something about special perks if we booked our next trip before checking out. :confused3 I don't know if it was from AKL or the cruise or if I just dreamed it.

The reason I thought about this was because we are going the first week of April and staying at POFQ. DD18 won't be able to go with us since she is now in college and our spring breaks don't coincide. I don't feel too guilty because she gets to go to London for her spring break. ;) But she wants to go to WDW before Christmas this year and I think she has talked DH into it. So I was thinking would it be better to book our trip while we are there in April or did I just imagine this?

And I thought I had all my planning and ADR's done and I could relax, but now this! :rotfl2:

You would have gotten a discount on the cruise if you booked another cruise but not a Disneyworld package with no cruise.

I hope I'm making sense. :teeth:

There was a promotion last year or year before that if you booked your next visit FROM YOUR RESORT ROOM, there was a discount.

That was only for a short time and has not been brought back.

Thanks! I didn't think I just imagined it, but I couldn't remember any details.

We did that several years ago but I have not had that offered to me since 02. Wish they would bring it back .

Just wanted to add that the booking discount "FROM YOUR RESORT ROOM" before you check - out promotion was going on 2 years ago............ we seriously considered doing it!!! We weren't sure about dates, so we didn't do it, but NO, you didn't dream it!!!
