Yep, heading out this afternoon....counting down the minutes till I leave work and start loading the car. Then I have to wait till 4 when DW gets home and make sure we have it all packed and hit the road....
If anyone sees a Silver Saturn Vue on I-75 South tonight in Georgia, or Friday in Florida with Tennessee tags, that's probably us. Actually we'll probably be passing you... :rotfl:

We're home. :sad1: The boys and I had a wonderful, magical time. All the raves about DCL didn't even prepare us for how incredible the ship and staff are.
Sorry I didn't get to meet many of you onboard. My sons were either in Ocean Quest or the Stack and I spent a lot of time reading and working on my tan. I managed to accomplish about 10% of what I had intended to do.
Grumpy Gramps - thank you so much for the awesome cabin door signs!! I hope you and Sarah had a great time.
I hope everyone had a wonderful cruise as well. The weather certainly could not have been better. I'll be writing a trip report soon. Farewell!

We missed the meet in deck 9, DW wanted to get to the room and start unpacking. By the time my bag arrived and got unpacked it was 3:15. I did find Grumpy-Gramps a day or so later, but didn't see anyone else with a DIS Green badge on while on the ship. Sorry we missed everyone else. If you were at any of the Art Auctions, or in the Art Gallery, you probably saw me and DW....We won 1 of the 5 prints they raffled off and we bought a piece of artwork.
We're home too. Left the port at 9:45am, stopped at Downtown Disney for a bottle of Fairey Tale Cuvee Champagne, and then drove up to Claremont to visit the LakeRidge Winery (and their Animal League Festival), ate some lunch, bought some wine and then drove home. Got in at 11:30pm Saturday night....really, really tired.
We rebooked for the Nov 14th, 2009 cruise. Cabin 6568. Anyone else on that trip...see you in that meet thread....
I am home and what a great cruise. I got aboard about 2:30 and went up to Deck 9 looking for anyone. Sorry, I did not even see the sign. There is so much to do that it is hard to get together. I am going to try to figure out a better approach to that when I cruise again, maybe in March.
Grumpy Gramps, thank you so very much for the signs. They were beautiful. My grandson is now trying to figure out how he can put them on his bedroom door. So far he hasn't found the solution, but I can tell by his questions he is looking. I certainly have met some new friends.
It was terrific and maybe I will get to see those who post here on some other cruises, I am sold on Disney cruises.

Sorry for the late response.
We too had a marvelous time, thank Gramps for the sign we wore/stuck it up proudly. Also had my badge for most of the trip.
We're definitely doing this again. The ship is sooo big! We did most of what we wanted done, it was mostly to relax and relaxed we did. We met a real nice family and the executive chef and expressed our love for his food. BTW, The staff told us that he's the inspiration for the chef in Ratatouille. And he REALLY looks like him too! He was quite proud of his food and staff.
See ya next time!
