I was letting the dogs out this evening when my DD and I got in from celebrating Day #2 of her birthday weekend at DTD, and I looked to the west, and saw a very pretty sunset - the orange was beautiful. Now, I don't have a clear shot of the horizon from my back yard, in fact i had to shot between two houses to get this photo. I zoomed in real close, and IMHO the result is beautiful. I have done nothing to the photo, not sure if I want to crop some from the sides or not.....

It has become a "habit" of mine each evening now when I take the dog out, to take my camera with me... I shot another sunset this evening, and when I downloaded the picture, I noticed something extra to the left of the sun that I did not see with my eye....

oh those photos are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for letting me see that we may have some of those some day soon......well maybe two or three months.......

Nice pics!! I think I like the second one better than the first. I can pretend I am on that plane getting ready to land at MCO. ;)

beautiful pics. love how the plane in the second seems to be pulling a trail of the sun behind it.

Is it my imagination, or does that second sunset have a real "Lion King" circle-of-life sort of look? :goodvibes

Awesome photos! I also have turned into a sunrise/sunset fanatic since I moved to Florida. Here are some of my favorite pictures. All of them were taken in my home town of Auburndale.
