My husband and I are taking a weekend to ourselves Jan 17-20 and I am wondering will all the rides that are decorated for the holidays be up and running by then, more importantly the Haunted Mansion? I checked DL website and it is not on the re-hab list, yet I also checked Jan. 3 and it wasn't on there to . Anyone know any info on this?

http://www.wdwinfo.com/sites/family/flowerface.GIF <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=navy>Usually, all the attractions are back in "normal" mode at that time, so I would think that the HM make-over would be over by then.
By the way, I've been reading about it at our sister site, www.laughingplace.com, and it looks like it is so cool (though that doesn't help you much).
Expect cool/colder type weather, and it might be rainy.... on the other hand, the crowds will be down, and you'll have a lot of opportunity to take your time and enjoy all that Disney has to offer. :sunny:

Haunted mansion may not be up and running then. Since it's the first year, I don't know how long it takes them to take it down. If you look at it this way, HM closed Sept 10 this year, and opened today 10-5, so it took almost a month to change. If it takes that long to change back and they change the beginning of January, then it might not be up then. I think it takes Small world about a month to change also. Also if I remember correctly, last year or the year before, they extended small world to the middle or end of January, and not right at the new year, so there's always hope. Unfortunately there's no way to know for certain for a couple more months.
