I know these sites are for big campers and such but do you see tents on these sites too.

We had to book a perferred site because that is all that was left! We are tenting and I want to know if there is a good place to set up a tent or is it all paved for those pull through trailers.

Thanks!

Don't worry, you'll be fine!!!

There is a sand area at every campsite. The preferred sites tend to have smaller sand areas and bigger driveways, but I've seen tents in every loop!!

Keep trying for that partial hookup, and hopefully you'll get one.

If you can't get a partial hookup, then tell them you need a site with as much coquina area as possible.

You may need to set your tent up in the coquina area and set up your screen room/fly over the driveway and stake it down on either side of the driveway.

Thanks,

Good to know. We did camp her once before. Cotton Tail Curl and it was mostly tents with a few pop ups.

This time it will probably be mostly large trailers with a few tents. Oh well! I do check the website everyday for a partial. Should I call. Would it make a difference.

The funny thing is we do have a pop-up but we live in Ontario and the pop-up is in PEI where we vacation in the summer. It would take us about 18 hours to go pick it up.

I'm sure we will be fine tenting, we used to all the time before the pop-up.

Again,

Thanks!

Yes, I would call. Website availability for the campsites is entirely different than on the phone availability.

Keep checking the web site and even ask at check in. Sites open up all the time. However, you will be fine on a preferred site. Just be sure and have them note on your resie that you are tenting and need as much tent pad as possible.

Keep calling to see if you can get a "partial" site. It worked for me, yesterday.
