Woohoo !! It's present time

Just to remind you that there is only one weekend left before we start sending out our Secret Bunny presents. Could everyone please wrap their present up and send it out around 6th March and if possible send them by recorded delivery

I hope you have had a bit of fun with this, and keep an eye out as there may be another 'Secret Exchange' in time for the Summer holidays

I posted mine this afternoon BUT I had a big on an arguement with the POst Office Clerk!!

It was not my normal/local Post Office as I posted it in my lunch hour at work so it was in a tiny sub post office.

I wanted it to go Recorded Delivery....filled the sticky part in but told her I did not want to put my name and return address (secret bunny!!) part on the back of the parcel. She said she would NOT accept the parcel recorded delivery unless I put my return address on as this part of the Recorded Delivery policy!!......talk about a jobsworth!.
I tried to explain that I did not want the recipient to know who had sent it but she was having none of it!!...SO if you reconise the return address I apologise!!...stupid woman :sad2:

It was only when I came out I thought I should have put my parents address on!!! :blush:

The girl in my Post Office couldn't of been more helpful, when I told her it was a secret exchange she just smiled and said that that part of the form didn't have to be filled in

Does anyone else think it's silly that to "guarantee" delivery we have to pay extra? You can pay standard but it's not certain to get there! To quote someone I read elsewhere, it's like taking your car to the garage for its MOT. You can pay £50 and they MIGHT do it but to "guarantee" it you have to pay £75.

I popped to the Post Office today to pick up my package, and I got my friend to open it so that I wouldn't see any labels etc. I had 3 pressies in there.

The 1st one said Something to keep you busy when not on the Disboards which was a Paint your own Eeyore Set, which looks like a lot of fun

The 2nd one said Something scrummy when you are homesick for Florida which was a Hershey's Reese's Cups and a Reese's Nutrageous (now I've never had these before, but I am really looking forward to stuffing my face)

The 3rd one said Something to remind you of yourself ... just incase you ever forget Now this for me was brilliant, I had several sheets of labels done with my name, address and a piccie of Stitch on - how cool is that ? :stitch:

So thank you Secret Bunny, I'm absolutely thrilled with them and your little clues. :love:

I received mine today. It was lovely coming in from work and my dh said a package is on the side for you.

I got a tinker bell magic towel, 2 choc nemo lollies (which I gave one to my dd) and a mobile phone attactchable which had mickey, pluto and donald. I am really pleased.

My dh came home from work yesterday early as he was sent home ill with tonsillitice and he has sprained his shoulder. I will definately be popping to the p.o tomorrow after dropping Casey off to school. Sorry for the delay and dissapointment I really am sorry we are not usually this disorganised the illnesses has really taken its toll this month.

I got a gorgeous Tinkerbell wallet and pencil, which are very pink and sparkly. They're absolutely perfect, the wallet's perfect for my holiday next month, and the pencil's going to help me through the many hours of university work I have ahead of me :teeth:

I also got some scrummy Piglet and flower jelly lollies, although my sister helpfully pointed out that, after I'd bitten off Piglet's ears and arms, it looked like he was crying :guilty: I gave her the priviledge of biting off his head for this :rolleyes:

I'm going to be starting a questionairre thread about exchanges tomorrow, so hopefully everyone who took part in this exchange can give ideas for the next one. With so many people going away in July & August, I may run the next one for the end of June, but as not everyone is going to WDW in the Summer or even this year, it may still be best for people to give ideas of what they may want/like/collect

Anyway the questionnaire will be posted tomorrow, and I would be grateful for any comments (good or bad) that we can use for our Summer exchange
