Ap rates have dropped Late May

We had the end of May booked with an AP rate of $206 for a standard room at RP. We had 6 nights altogether. I checked the AP rates and 4 of my 6 nights are now $129 & 2 nights are at $149.

May dates run through Memorial weekend. So check AP dates for late MAY & JUNE.

The best rate I'm getting for late May early June is $206 - both on-line and when calling direct.

I tried 5/31, and the rates are really high. I would keep checking back because they may be loading new rates, and that date isn't in yet. I'm just really surprised that my dates which run through memorial weekend are lower then the Wednesday after Memorial day.

I checked a few dates near there and only got the lower rate when I made my stay 4-5 nights. One night stays were coming up high.

I just changed my ressies today. We are staying at HRH June 1-5, my rates are 149.00 for 2 nights and 169.00 for 2 nights with the APH rate. :)

Yes, I checked rates with the APH code. Came up with 206 for RP, $169 for Portofino, and $149 for HR. We originally had $229 though so thanks very much for the heads up!

Deelam, I forgot to say thank you! After I read your thread I went to the USF hotels website and I got a lower rate.I am going during memorial holiday instead of the 19-22 ressies I had.
Before 229.00. After 129.00.
Before park was closing at 7:00 p.m. After 9:00 p.m
I got 2 extra hours ( to eat with the meal plan if available ) thanks to your thread. I noticed that today their rates went back HIGH again 204.00 memorial day. I hope they (Universal) do not cancel my ressies and that when people says that Universal will honor ALL their rates even if they look strange are 100% right!

I think Universal will honor our low prices. I think they released only a small portion of rooms at the low price, once they were gone the rates went back up. I'm glad I got in on the low deals.
