How long does it take to walk there from the hotel? How close is the City Walk from HRH?

You could get there walking on your hands in 5 min.

Hopping on one foot it might take you 10.

the secret shortcut way which was around to the back of the bar area closed down 2 years ago.

the new shortcut way i take is to go out the front door. walk past palms resturant, go down the stairs. at the bottom turn to the left and walk thru the employee (on the sidewalk) parking lot.

it empties out a few feet from where the regular walk way ends.

this is a 2 minute walk.........

some hurricane damage in the 2004 storm made hrh close this shortcut.
a sign was put up that stated, employees only.

my room key did not work on the lock.

so, i found the other short cut way.


the front desk told me they are discouraging guests from using it as they don't want people to see the un universal atmosphere of walking thru the employee parking lot. no big deal to me, its the same sidewalk and parking lot as always has been.

they won't stop you from this shortcut. i used it all the time last year.
