Look on the brightside.....the gas board are not getting 22% extra out of you for heating the house! :(

That'll eat into their 1.5 billion profit (or whatever is is! pirate: )

Hope you get it fixed soon.

oh beleive me we have spent enough over the last week ! the only way to stop the leak was to have the heating on 24/7 :teeth: we have never been so warm before :rotfl2:

mr plumber reckons he should have the heating on for tonight so fingers crossed x

That's terrible Nat, you'd think that as you've got small children they would've made sure that your heating was fixed straight away. We've had a bit of snow through the night and it feels so cold here, have you had snow too - I really hope they get it sorted today :)

Oh Nat I'm sorry :)

The first winter we were married our heating was condemmed for leaking carbon monoxide and our lazy landlord took ages to fix it. We were out all day at work and in the evenings used to snuggle up under a blanket, light candles and watch Buffy! It was quite romantic :goodvibes

I must be an absolute nightmare with kids though - I do hope they have you as a priority and sort you out today

Duplicate post due to slow boards and my impatience :badpc:

Hi Nat :)

Which plumber you using? - I always seem to find it difficult finding a decent plumber in the Hinckley area that I can rely on.

02-24-2006, 07:44 AM
Reminds me of coming back from Orlando in October and having to endure a week or two with no heating :cold:
