what upgrade w/lowes blue pbh?

I have book bay view and was wondering what type of upgrade might occur if available with my loews blue?

No upgrade is likely. I was upgraded once from garden to bay view. If it's your first stay then bay view is a treat. If you were upgraded it would be to a deluxe and you wouldn't like the view as much.

the reason i asked which hotel is when i would book a standard room at hrh, 6 times i have been upgraded to pool view.

3 of those visits were at blue card status.
first 2 visits were for 2 nights, last of those 3 visits were for a 6 night stay.
you can't move up to gold until after the trip/stay is over.


depending on the date the op goes and the hotel, possibly a chance of upgrade if it is in low season don't you think?

i know i wouldn't bank on it but there could be an outside chance.

Thank you all. Staying at pbh in July for only 2 nights. Have stayed there only once before and we were upgraded from standard to bay view. We just loved the room and would love to stay in the exact room again. It was in teh west wing 4th floor and had a small balcony that we could watch nightly fireworks from. But I was just wondering if there was somthing better?

Do you just request the upgrade at check-in?

I ask if there are any upgrades available. Sometimes when we were Blue they said yes and proceeded to tell us how much extra it would cost. Now at Platinum they give us complimentary upgrades almost every time.
