Hi there! Just curious about the AP. I looked on the website and it looks like you get 10-15% off food in park (most places) and I think it said 20% off merchandise (with a few exceptions.) It also talked about discounts on day passes. Does this mean that if I get an AP, then I can buy the passes for the rest of the family at a discount? Also, (sorry for all the questions!) how do you know what the AP discount rate for a hotel room would be. Do you type in AP in the Code space on the ressie form? I couldn't figure it out. With all these savings I may invest in one for me even though there is no way we would get there more than once next year. We live too far away! Thanks in advance for any help! pixiedust:

You type aph in the code box for discounts. The ap discounts drop closer to the date youre going, as I understand it. For instance, I'm going in june, booked with AAA because it shows cheaper right now than APH rate, but hopefully it will drop before I go and I will change it.
The best deal for tickets is the 99$ 5 day tickets you get on-line. You can't use you AP for those tickets as they are already discounted.

Thanks Linda. Wow... I just compared an AAA rate vs an AP rate for some dates late in April at the HRH. The AAA rate was $278 and the AP rate was $169 for the same room! Methinks it is well worth it to buy the pass!

I am going June 17th to the 21 and have two garden view rooms at the HRH. The lowest price that I have been able to get is 259 per night but that comes with 2 free 2 park passes for each room. I keep seeing rates much lower than this. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help.

June aph rates arent out yet. I'm not sure if they will drop or not, we'll have to wait and see.

I dont mean to ask dumb questions but will I lose my free tickets if I rebook with the AP rates. Will I have to buy two passes to book the two rooms or will one work since they are both in my name?

Thank you very much

there is no such thing as a stupid question! :thumbsup2

You cannot double up on discounts / codes. Yes you will lose the 2 free park tickets if you switch to the APH code. Just compare the two totals to find out which option is best for you. It will prolly be most cost effective to buy the park ticket deal where you get 1 free childs ticket when you buy the adults.

As for the 2 rooms with one APH, I have heard different outcomes. It seems that if you are booking 2 rooms because you have a large immediate family ( 2 adults with 4 kids for instance ) they will let you use one APH. However, if you are booking 2 rooms for all adults they say no, atleast one adult in each room must have a APH to get the APH discount.

Thanks, I'll wait to see what the AP rates are and compare them then.
