okay-call me odd but I have a question about Shrek 4D. Does anything "touch" you during this show? Put me on Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, Rockin Roller Coaster, etc and I am okay. But put me on a ride that something may touch me and I am a mess! I can handle Muppet's 4D but not It's Tough to Be a Bug.
Thanks,
Karen

technically nothing "touches" you. i believe there are some bubbles that cause some wetness and there is wind that blows by your legs that feel exactly like spiders. other than that, i dont think so.

Two of my three daughters won't do It's Tough to be a Bug after being freaked out by it once, but they love Shrek 4D. I think you will be fine.

well, don't do it if it will make you wet your pants.......
if tough to be a bug freaks you out, so will shrek unless you sit in the very front where there are stationary chairs. you will be fine there

the non-stationary seats get a little violent in portions of the show to simulate horseback riding. it's the best 4D show in Orlando. (sorry philharmagic)

Sorry, new to Universal, but is this a simulator ride?

no, it's a 4-D theater attraction along the lines of ITTBAB and Philharmargic at WDW. it picks up where the original Shrek movie left off.

Shrek is great - and like already said there is a bit of movement , like horseback riding.

My 6 year old HATES Its Tough to Be a Bug! He starts to backpedal as soon as we walk into the tree. :rotfl2: We've tried it at 2, 4 and 6, all with the same results. I'm not sure why. On the other hand he will ride any rollercoaster all day long. :confused3

My daughter always puts her feet up in the chair right before the spiders, she hates that part and it gets a screech out of her every time LOL I like it though, it's really fun and we've rode it about 10 times :)
