Thanks for the info, Shari. I just ate there on Saturday and really enjoyed it. I hope they figure out something else to put in there soon, it is a LOVELY restaurant and it's a shame to leave it closed. :(

<font color=navy>I've only eaten there once, and was looking forward to going there again - it really is a nice restaurant. I hope they do find another one to put in there. It's too beautiful not to use. ::::sigh::::

Mondavi is getting out of their operating agreement and Boudin and Mission are said to be following suit.
How would these restraunts have operated on shortened park hours? Were they open when the park was closed?
Maybe there will be a space for the Country Bears. ;) I'll go for an In-n-Out. :D

Yep, just heard about the Golden Vine Winery closing on the local news too. We liked that place even MORE than Avalon Cove.
This is depressing for locals like us who head to DCA for dinner every other week or so in the off season. Guess there just weren't enough of us to go around. :(

What a shame, this was one of our all time favorite Disney property restaurants :-(

That's too bad. The wife & I had an excellent meal there last month. Loved the decor also

Boundin, Mission and Catepillar are planning to bound together to get out of the agreement with Disney because of very low attendance. Give Disney a little break here!

That is so sad. So is ANYTHING going to be open there except for the Disney snack bars and the McDonalds? lol :(

Latest rumor is a Mermaid themed restraunt opened in time for Luminaria.

A revolutionary holiday light show that will take place on the Paradise Pier lagoon starting this year. It will include artwork created by guests and their children that day in the park, and luminary bags with guests wishes in them. Should be really cool. I think there's a thread that has the press release further down on this board.
Hmmmm... well, the first year was certainly not what they had hoped. It will be interesting to see what kind of good things will fill those places now.
