I was taking a picture of our dog and made the mistake of taking it in Sepia. I thought my camera was messed up when I pulled the picture up on the computer. I actually like it, so I seem to like my messed up pictures better. :teeth:

I like it as well. I think it would make a good 5 x 7!

Just a suggestion, you may want to get rid of the stick(?) in front of the dog.

Here it is without the stick. What do you think?
This is dh's dog and he was born the same day that dh's father passed away and has his initials as his name. JR for James Robert. I think I will try and do a 5 x 7 and frame it for dh.

forgot to add: the frame is still 4:3. If you make it 3:2 it''ll be the standard 35mm film-like aspect ratio and it will force the viewer to concentrate more on the dog.
Good work on the (lack of) stick.

Still so new at this but how do you change it to 3:2?

go to "rectangular marquee tool" then choose "Style: Sixed Aspect Ratio" and you enter width as "3" and height as "2" (the reverse if you're taking vertical picture)

How good are you at coloring? try to color the dog and leave the background as sepia.

I'm good with my box of 64 Crayolas!! I can stay in the lines!!!!:rotfl:
Sorry, that's the first thing I thought of when I read the post!!!
I need to stop spending so much time on the boards, and start practicing photo editing! I get so frustrated when I try anything other than resizing!!!
Nice picture of the dog!
