Canadians & Planning Video

I ordered a planning video well over a month ago and have received nothing. I used a toll free number where I had to input everything to a recording. When I got to zip, I could only put in 5 choices ( 'cause Americans have a 5 digit zip). So, I am wondering if there is somewhere else I should phone where I could talk to a human. Anyone else have that problem? Has anyone else received their planning video? Any info is appreciated!

Louise,I just ordered one from disney.ca last week.Says it takes 2-3 weeks for delivery.The reason I did it this way was that i havent seen the ads for the video yet in the newspaper and I figured if it doesnt come this way I would be able to phone for it.I have ordered videos before from the Disney site and have always received them.

I called CRO to amend my September reservation about 8 weeks ago and asked then if I could order one over the phone. She said sure and made the arrangements, however I am still waiting 8 weeks later. Good Luck.

It took me about 4 weeks to get my video - but I got this year's (2001) not the 100 Years video.

We received a note about pre-ordering the newest planning video a month or so ago (for Disney Club members). There was a special phone number. But anyway, the new video is supposed to be coming out (if I can remember :) ) in mid October. So I would imagine the ads will start to appear in newspapers very shortly, assuming everything is still on schedule.

I ordered mine from the Disney magazine about 4-5 weeks ago. I recieved the old video, not the 100 years one. I reordered it from the canadian disney site, I hope I get the new one.

I must be very lucky. My last video and CD ROM came in 10 days from ordering by phone.

I called Disney 10-12 weeks ago about a vacation planning CD-Rom and then called again about 4-5 weeks ago and I haven't received anything yet. I've heard that the mail crossing the border is a bit slower now, but 3 months is more than enough time to have something delivered. :confused: :(

I emailed Disney directly, through their "Contact Us" on their website at the beginning of October and received a message back on October 5, that I should receive my video in 4 - 6 weeks. I specifically requested the 100 Years Video, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they send me the right one! I'll let you know!

My vacation planning CD finally arrived. I assume this was sent out after my second call to Disney, so it was about 10-11 weeks total.

The CD has a lot of the same video footage as the planning video as well as some new stuff. There seems to be a lot more information about the resorts (prices, amenities, comparisons, etc.). I briefly looked at the family version last night, but I have modified the ini file to include the 4 different versions and will take a look at the others when I have time. I also noticed yesterday that the planning cd is no longer an option on the dropdown at disneyworld.com (you can only request a video).

Hopefully, the new video will arrive soon as well.

I never seem to wait long for my videos and the CD ROM only took 10 days! I just requested the 100 year video, let you know when I get it! Only 5 months to go. As much as I really really really really want to go, plan to go, I have that "something is going to happen" feeling! YIKES!

I saw a number in my newspaper to phone for the video, a I also ordered one of the Canadian Disney website and I am still waiting........................................... ........

Anyone else still waiting?????????
