Ok, as you all know yesterday was valentines day, and as you all know, I sent Stephanye half a dozen roses.
So let me take it back a few months, and tell you guys the whole story so I don't have to explain everything every few posts.
I've had a crush on Steph sence the 6th grade. Now I would do just about anything for her. I mean, I would probably take a bullet for her. Well at the beginning of this year, for the first semester I had health, and she was in my class. Now I hadn't been in a class with her sence 6th grade, so this was just great for me, let alone we sat at the same table. (tables seat 3, so yeah). Well anywho, I was just enjoying my time there until she started obsessing over this one guy in our class. His name is David, and some of you have read about him. Now, the whole, "I love David, I love David, I want to take David to homecoming...etc" thing that she for some reason felt the need to express to everyone in immediate listening distance hurt, but it didn't hurt all that bad. David is actually a great guy. I know that if they were to go out, David would be loving, caring, faithful, and all that other mumbo jumbo.
Well that lasted up until this other boy, Lyle, switched into our class. Now, he got seated around a bunch of people he didn't like, so as soon as attendence was over, he sat somewhere else. And where did his dart land? Right, next, to Stephanye.
Well, this ended the whole, "I love David" thing, and started a new thing. "I love Lyle". Now this hurt 10 times worse, because I honestly don't trust this guy.
He just seems like one of those guys, who view women as an object. If he had a girlfriend, (which seems that now he does....keep reading), he would not treat them well. Like he would try to rush them into things they arn't ready for, and then complain about it if they said something. Like he would hit on the hottest girl he sees, and not care about his so called g/f. I think you get the point.
So anyway, fast forward to last week. Once when I was passing Stephanye in the halls, I just couldn't take it anymore. I needed to give her some sort of hint that I cared about her. Well I decided, "Valentines Day is coming up...why not give her flowers?" So I called the local florist on Friday, and ordered Stephanye half a dozen roses, to be delivered to her yesterday during school.
Soooooooooooo that brings us to.....TODAY. I show up at school expecting to get a thank you or a hug or something from her for the roses. Well, didn't quite get that. Actually, I didn't get anything from her, or her friends. She didn't aknowledge the flowers or me or anything. I don't even know if she got them. And even if she did, it's looking like a wates of $26. Well, back on topic. After second hour, I was walking up the stairs, and guess what I see. Her and Lyle all over each other hugging and kissing.
Well isn't that just swell. As soon as I saw that, I just looked away. My first thought was, "That is NOT what I needed to see today", and I was a mix of really, really mad, and really sad at the same time all of next hour and half of lunch. Which of course was terrible because with my dumb luck, after seeing that, I had to walk right behind her all the way to the lunchroom.
So anywho, my friends who are funnier than Dane Cook, Bill Cosby, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, and Chris Rock combined cheered me up. And last hour, I decided that, that relationship is going down in a ball of flames. I don't care, there is just too many questions about it for it to stay afloat. So what am I going to do about it? Nothing. Absolutly nothing. I'm just going to sit back, pop some popcorn, and enjoy the show. And when that thing finally does crash into the ground in a huge explosion, guess who will be there to put out the flames, and carry Stephanye away from that mess?
So yeah, I'm just going to enjoy my long weekend. (I'm flying to Florida today, and going to Disney Tomorrow). I'm not going to let anything get me down. Not, anything. And when I get back, I'm going to see if I can add Stephanye onto my AIM list, more as a tool to help me know what is going on with her.
So yeah, I had a GREAT day.

Well you could look at it this way- at least you wouldn't be getting into a relationship with a really cruddy girl.

ok, im going to be honest. not trying to be mean, just honest. she prolly got the flowers. if i liked someone as much as you said she liked that kid, i would prolly do the same thing, if i found out he liked me too. I might have said thank you, but i might not have. i guess it depends on the situation. if i really didnt like you or didnt know you too well, then i prolly wouldnt say anything unless you said something to me. if i liked you or knew you well enough then i would have said thank you atleast. thats just what i would do, i dont know what she would do. and girls tend not to get that a guy will hurt her, even if she has been hurt a thousand times, if he says the right things at the right time, shes guna go for him. or if he makes up for things he does wrong, then she will stay with him. so im sorry about what happened, and i hope she sees who the better guy is soon.

That's pretty bad and I'm sry, but at least you're on the upside of things. Well, my Valentines went great. My bf of 2 years surprised me with balloons, flowers, candy, and real diamond earrings . I'm so glad his parents are doctors I get way better stuff, just kidding! I drove up to school and saw the baloon but didn't see that Mason,bf, was holding it. I THOUGHT THAT'S NICE for somebody to do! I also got tons of candy and crap from my friends and parents. I fell great and I Luv everyone! :thumbsup2

Ok here we go..
From what I gather from your story, Stephanye likes Lyle. Doesn't it seem a little odd that the day after she was supposed to recieve your flowers she and Lyle are "all over eachother."
So my question to you: Is there any possible way that Lyle could have taken credit for your flowers? I mean if you sent a card with the flowers saying that they're from you, that kind of rules out that thought. But I was just wondering..
Anyways, I'm sorry that it didn't work out the way you had planned and I think it was really sweet of you to think of her on Valentine's day..

let me just say this though, you sure are racking up the points with us girls on here. youre proving yourself to be a really good guy, any way you look at it.
but it seems we're in the same boat. the guy i like is way "out of my league", he probably doesnt even know i exist. *sigh* but such is life.
i mean, it could be a huge misundertstanding, like ally said. or...it couldnt. at any other time, i would suggest "getting closer to her by being her friend", but i know how it feels to be in your shoes. it just sucks. but youve got a really positive attitude, which is really good. keep your head up :goodvibes
and dont worry, everything happens for a reason.
