Vero Beach at 7 month window (Easter)???s

Hello!
We are toying with the idea of going to VB at Easter, 2007. Is it difficult to book at the 7 month mark? How is the weather? Will there be enough for a 6 and 4 year old to do for 5-6 nights? DH and I just discovered that it is not too far from his parents' home and thought that we could visit with them and have a beach getaway at the same time. The thought of WDW at Easter sounds crowded and hectic, but I will book SSR at 11 months to be sure we have accomodations that week. Thank you for your input!

I'm not sure how easy it is to book at the 7-month window but we usually go to VB every year around Easter, and my kids, who are now 14 and 18, love it. We usually stay 5-6 nights and truly have a hard time leaving. For younger kids especially, there are a good amount of activities to keep them busy.

And we've always had 70-80 degree weather.

I called daily at the 7-month mark, and booked at Vero for Easter 2006.

Can anyone tell me where to go for Vero activities? My kids are 10 & 13 & we will be there for 4 days from 4/10-4/15. Never been there before - but love Hilton Head & of course our home resort OKW!
