one of the 1970/80s Star Wars Cake pans by Wilton that they would either sell me or rent me? My son desperately wants one for his bday, but I can't seem to win the ebay auctions and I'm running out of time to wait through the auction and then for shipping. I'd be willing to return it (hence, the renting) if you don't want to part with it permanently.

I don't have one, but am going to suggest trying a "party type store."

In the Milwaukee area, we have a chain called Bartz's that rents out various cake pans.

Another spot to consider posting this on is on the discussion board for wilton.com.

i just did a search on ebay and there are currently 13 up for bidding

Thanks. They no longer currently make them; have to get them second hand. And I'm just not winning the ebay auctions. I will also posted a plee on the Wilton message boards--forgot they had those!
