We enjoyed DL at Christmas time last year and have decided to return. Tentatively have selected the week of December 3rd. Not sure if we'll be in the park
Mon-Thurs or Tue-Fri...plan to drive up the evening before.
We are;

- Nana (just decided to accept our invitation to join us)
- Mom and I (39 +1)
- DD #1 - 7 1/2
- DD #2 - 4 1/2
- DD #3 - 1 1/2

Could really use some room suggestions for; 3 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. Our youngest will sleep in a "portable crib/playpen". We stayed at the Raddisson last year and liked it - clean and functional. We either walked or took their bus - the walk was not too bad...but would not want to go too much further away in case we missed a shuttle or decided to walk.

We are pretty flexible and sure could use your input on hotel and room combinations that are safe and economical.

Many thanks to those who read/post on these boards....you've made our Disney vacations soooooo much better.

I've never stayed there, but when we were trip-planning, it looked like the suite-rooms at the Carousel across the street from Disneyland seem like they'd be large enough and close enough to accomodate your six travelers. The suites have a park view, and they do offer a breakfast of some sort. Maybe someone who has stayed in one could help you with details.

The Disneyland Hotel would be great...but they say the rooms accomodate five. But, there are either two queens or two doubles, depending on your room, and along with the sofa-bed and a porta-crib, you'd have it made. It's close and I'm sure they would love the holiday decorations!

I like Best Western Park Place Inn and Howard Johnsons.

However, one of my friends who travelled with her husband and three daughters highly recommended Desert Inn and Suites. It's directly across the street from DL, and she said the room was big and had a refrigerator and microwave. This might be worth looking into considering the size of your party and that you're travelling with children.
