We have 3 separate reservations for our December trip. One night - site only for the day we arrive, 10 nights package with site, tickets and dining and then 1 night site only at the end. I seem to remember our last trip had a similar situation, but I don't remember if I had to go back to the office and re-check in. I know I didn't move sites.

Have any of you had a similar situation - more than one reservation for one stay? Did you have to change sites? Did you have to to back to the front desk to re-check in for each reservation? Thanks.

You will have to go back and re-register for each reservation, but as you remember you should not have to move sites.

The only reason you would have to change sites is if your class of site changed, i.e. one reservation was for a water/electric only site and one reservation was for a full hook up site.

I've had separate reservations many times when staying at Ft. Wilderness. It's not a big deal if you plan it right.

On the days you have to go to the front desk, plan on going to Epcot or Animal Kingdom that morning. Take a bus (or your golf cart or bikes) to the Outpost bus stop. Wander over to the checkin building. Get your new cards, then head on to the parks.

Once I was told that f you are up past midnight, you can re-checkin then...but I think the computers go down for a while around 2 am to update... it's worth asking about if you are coming back late anyhow...

We always do our reservations this same way. And we re-check in at 6AM. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

I am glad to hear that the front desk is open at that time. We are early-birds, so going up at the crack of dawn to re-check in will work perfectly for us! :sunny:

I checked in late one night and the computers were down. They had my checkin stuff all printed out and ready, but I had to come back the next morning to activate charging to my resort keys.

The front desk is open 24/7. Just like the resorts, someone is always there. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:
