Disney website include tax?? AAA quote doesn't make sense?

Does the quote from the Disney website include tax?

I priced out a package for 4 on the Disney Website for July 3 - July 8.

5 day base ticket
5 nights at All Star Movies
5 nights of dining plan
4 people (me, DH, DD14 and DD11)
$2171.56


I got a quote from AAA for $2346.66.

What could the difference be? She confirmed everything that I wanted - base tickets, 5 night meals, etc.

I'm pretty sure that the Disney site does include tax. Maybe the difference is travel insurance? :confused3 Thats the only thing I could think of. Hope this helps!

Do you have a printout or email of the AAA quote? I would check for insurance, booking fees, discount, etc. Is it 5 nights, checking out on the 8th or 6, checking out on the 9th, etc.

You can only do the same # nights dining as room nights, so that can't be the problem.

Call or email your agent and mention that their quote is higher than the one directly from Disney.

You could always get a quote from another AAA agent to compare. The information I got from my agent has all been correct. I was asked about insurance and had to fill out a form saying I wanted/didn't want it.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago (different package though). She had automatically included trip insurance in our quote. Still, even after removing that it was only about $35 less through AAA.

My AAA agent just called back and said that her quote was wrong. (Oh, really??) I am not sure what the problem was because she confirmed everything correct (no insurance, 4 people, dining, etc.).

Anyway, the new quote is $2087. This makes a little more sense.

The only problem is AS Movies was unavailable. So I picked AS Sports since it is the first bus stop to be picked up and dropped off. :banana: We will wander over to movies to take some pictures, though.
