ME question for cabins

If you are using ME, do they pick your luggage up directly from your cabin or do you need to take it to the Outpost? Is there a special van that would pick you up at the cabin to take you to the ME bus stop?

They have several large passenger vans that will pick you and your luggage up and deliver you to the bus stop. During our last trip we stayed at a cabin the first night (tropical storm was going through in October) and then camped in a tent the rest of the week. Got picked up by the van on the last day. I don't believe there was a fee for any of this, just tipped generously (as we had a crazy amount of luggage and equipment).

After you get your ME pick up time, the morning before you leave,call the desk and ask for a van pick up about 1/2 hour or more before your ME time.The ME actually came about 20 minuets before our pick up time.Have a magicial time.We just returned and saying it was magical was a understatement.Fort Wilderness is the best. :cool1:
