View Full Version : Are king beds in "regular" rooms too?

I ask because though I know they are limited, I would like to book a room with a king bed. However I would feel a little bad occupying a disability-accessible room that someone else could or would need. :confused3 I'm thinking about POFQ btw.

ETA:I meant for this to be in the general Resorts forum. Sorry.

They are available, however I believe they are a little more money. When we went in May, I was going to reserve a king for my father, since he was alone (figure he didn't need 2 beds!), but the rate for the king was slightly higher (I think similar to a water view room).

When we stayed at Pop in July, we requested 2 connecting rooms because there are 6 of us. I just assumed we would get 2 rooms with 2 double beds each. But we got 1 room with a king and 1 with 2 doubles. We weren't charged any more money.

When we went to Pop in Feb '04 I just made a standard reservation.

When I faxed in my room request I requested a King since my DD was younger and would only sleep with me. And we got it at standard price.

I'd put it in his room request no so much the reservation.
