Cancelled "barrowed" points question

If I barrow February 2007 (Use Year) points for a reservation covering days in January 2007 and have to change or cancel those January days, what happens with the points? Can I put them back into my 2007 UY or they “lost”? We were thinking of going to WDW in January 2007 and staying into February. I believe I can put the February points back but don’t know about the barrowed January points.

Borrowed points stay in the use year they were borrowed into, so in your scenario, they would have to be used before the end of January 2007.
