Lets say that when you were born, your parents planted a tree in the front yard. This was labled, "your tree". Well say they ran into financial trouble and had to sell the house.
So one day your driving by, and you pass your old house and happen to notice that, your tree, has been cut down.
What would you do?

I would probably be both sad and angry, but after all, you don't own the house anymore, so the new owners can do whatever they want with it.

This actually applies to me. Except the tree hasn't been cut down.
I actually might buy that tree from the homeowners. Lol.

After we bought our house, one Halloween a family came by to say hello, that they used to live in our house. They mentioned that they'd planted one of the trees when their girl was little. We built an addition where that tree was, but we moved it to another location in our yard because it was "hers". It's thriving in it's new location and I always remember it's special significance when I look at it. :goodvibes

I'd probably have taken the tree with us! ;) I get wicked attachted to stuff like that. I actually planned to ball up a tree and take it with us when we moved, but we left so fast I didn't get a chance to. I'm mildy tempted to go back and see if its still there, but I wouldnt' go back there for anything.

That's how I'd feel about it.
We built this house for us to move into, and this was the only place I ever lived in except for a little condo that I lived in up until I was, like, 2 years old (?) But I don't think we're gonna be moving out of this place...so my next move will be off to college :goodvibes :teeth:

WOW! I thought I was the only dork who did that :P :P
(not that you're a dork! hahah. we are the only cool ones who are cool enough to do that)
Hahah. Yeah I'd probably cry alot. I've cried every time I've moved.
And I also cried when my mom gave away some of my stuffed toys.

Plant a tree in the front yard of your new house (unless you live in an apartment).
