Hi . I also need to find a good, clean hotel. But we need a suite, or a room with two beds plus a pull out couch.
Looking on the net, the Best Western Cairn Croft looks nice, but the beds.
We also like staying at the Comfort Inn on Clifton Hill. We were thinking of a extra cot, but we are taking DD's boyfriend, we need the extra space. Back in December we stayed at the Ramada Suites, but is getting a little run down and we need a change. Any ideas ????????????? :confused3

We stayed at the Marriot Falls View.

Here are some picture. We had a great room. Two double beds, seperate room with a fire place, tv, chair, coffee tables, end tables and pull out sofa. There was also a coffee station, fridge and desk area.
The view was amazing!
My DH and I stay twice a year at the Courtyard Marriot. Nice rooms and good price. We usually get the package deal thru their websit that is 2 nights with breakfast buffet both mornings and a $45.00 food voucher towards the Keg (Rest. inside hotel) Also the attaction shuttle is included. We love this hotel and have recommended it to our friends. They have also had good experiences aswell.

I booked a weekend at Embassy and they honored the $96 for Friday night. We were going to stay at the Courtyard again, but thought we would try the Embassy again this trip. The last time we stayed we booked a fallsview for $400/night and we were there for about 12 hours. What a waste. Thanks for the info.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a nice place to eat on either the american or canadian side for dinner. We are eating at the KEG Fallsview for dinner one night because we are getting a voucher. I thought we would eat at Skylon, but there choices are limited as DH is a picky eater and what we would eat at the KEG is probably what he would eat at Skylon. We have done HRC numerous times and he's says there is a need for a change. TIA.

We had our children with us so we didnt do any fancier restaurants.
We ate breakfast at the Golden Griddle. Its a buffet. It was pretty good. Its right next door to Ripleys (Canadian Side).
We paid about 130. a nite including tax at the Marriot.
While there I took a lot of pictures. I was trying to get a picture of a rainbow. Theres usually one there. Well there wasnt this time!! After I
got home and loaded the pics on my pc. I found some of the pictures had rainbows in them that we couldnt see when I took the pic!

Hi again. I just looked up The Greatwolf Lodge the other day. Not opening untill spring. The price range is a little over for us. Over $300.00 a night.
I just phoned the Cairn Croft. With CAA its $89.00 a night pool side. Our DD17 will be :Pinkbounc when I book this.SHHHHHHHH. our DD13 doesn't know what we are doing , thats ok though. She is going to be in Florida with my inlaw family. Sister inlaw has promised both my girls, this is number two. When you are in grade eight, she will take them to Florida.

I thought that the Great Wolf Lodge looked interesting until I saw the prices. Let me think...1 night at this resort or airfare for 4 to Orlando? southwest com here I come!!!
By the way, I was curious as to why there are so many billboards for Great Wolf out there (I've seen dozens in my travels around southern Ontario) considering it doesn't open for a couple months. It occured to me that Canadian billionaire Jim Pattison is the developer of Great Wolf and the owner of Pattison Billboards. Guess he probably got a good deal.
Thanks for the heads up on the Embassy Suites deal. We stayed at the Hilton in the past but since the Fallsview Casino has opened it is beyond our budget. We ate at the Keg in the Embassy last year and were impressed with both the hotel and the views from the restaurant. I'd eat at the Keg 2 nights in a row, it's that delicious.

Just got back from our stay at the Embassy suites. We had booked the $96 deal. Final cost was $167 Canadian. That included breakfast at TGIFriday and $45 voucher at The Keg. (when I booked I asked if there were any extra fees besides room rate, parking and taxes and was told there were not - yet the bill shows additional promo fees)
I liked the hotel, restaurants and amenities. Service was friendly.
