I'm excited. I was able to get the dates we wanted for 4th of July. Hubby thinks I am crazy- This year we are permitting our 3 older children (we have 4 total) to each bring a friend since we won't be going to any themeparks (too busy for me that time of year). We will be doing a what we call "everything else in the World" trip. Hopefully it won't be too much on us, 7 kids to 2 adults. My thinking is that the friends (which are all good kids) will keep the older ones entertained.

Have a great trip! I think a no park trip sounds really fun. If it wasn't so far for us to get there, i would love a trip like that! :thumbsup2 I'm also a mom of 4, and I agree with you about bringing friends. Once you get to a certain point, adding a few more won't be that much more! :sunny: Your kids are probably thrilled!

We are also going for the 4th. I love doing all of the other things in the world trips. Have a great time. I think it s great that you are letting your kids each bring a friend.

Thanks for the thoughts! You comments reiterate how I really feel. Every once in a while I question myself and this helps confirm that I know we will all have a great time. :cloud9:
Now, if i can just get a reservation for a golfcart :cool1:

My best friend and I did 9 kids, ages 12 and under, in a pop up for 7 nights. No trip to the parks, but still had a great time. We have updated from the pop up to hard bodied campers, but I would still do 9 in a pop up to get me to Ft. Wilderness! We will also be there July 4th (actually, we will be there all summer) so maybe we will see you there! Have fun, enjoy your trip, and it really won't be that bad.
