Hello :sunny:

I was reading about the Cheesecake Factory restaurant and was wondering where the closest one was to the Kissimmee area? Has anyone ever eaten at one of these restaurants? Is the food good? I looked at their website, but I didn't recognize anything that was close to the area we are staying. I LOVE cheesecake, and would go just for that ;) !!!

Thanks so much
Kerri

Last time we were at DQ there was a Cheesecake Factory "snack bar" inside it, I think.

The one at The Mall at Millenia is the closest actual restaurant to WDW. There is a Cheescake Factory inside DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney but it is not a restaurant, they have the cheescake, but not the food (they serve fast food there), if you are just looking for the cheescake that would be a good option for you.

If you want to go to the restaurant for food, take I-4 East just past Universal Studios to Conroy rd, get off on Conroy and make a right, the mall is on your right. Go up to the 2nd light and make a right, the Cheesecake Factory is right there. It has an outside and inside entrance from the mall. It would take you about 30 minutes from WDW (depending on the traffic). We love the restaurant, the menu is so large there is always something for everyone and tends to make for a hard decision on what to get, but we have never been disappointed in anything we have had there. It's wonderful for a meal, but save room for dessert, you have to get cheesecake after all :)

The one at DisneyQuest only has a small selection of cheesecakes - I'd recommend going to the restaurant so you can choose from the full menu of cheesecakes!

If it is like the Cheesecake Factory here in Atlanta (I am sure it is) the portions of food are large, you may want to order half portions (they do allow this on many of their dishes or consider split a dish with someone. All to make sure you have room for the CAKE... :sunny:

My DH was in Orlando a few months ago for a convention and one of the guys he was with wanted to try it, but DH said it took forever to get there and didn't think the food was worth it as there are so many great restaurants right by Disney...just a thought...

I LOVE their food, we have one close to us so not sure if the menus are the same everywhere. We went to one in Vegas and they had the same thing I wanted at home so I imagine they must be similar or the same.

Same room for the cheesecake, it has the biggest selection of cheesecake I've ever seen.

You do have to go to the Mall of the Millenium for the closest one.

Split an entree if you aren't super hungry, portions are large and you need room for dessert!
