Mbb and I have been in discussion with the webmasters in regards to the linking to pool homes. We will still continue to welcome links to all pool homes a DISER has had personal exp. with. If it happens to be a home owned by a DIS member, that is okay, but it cannot be "pushed" anymore than any other home mentioned.
However, pool home owners on the DIS are still not allowed to link to and/or advertise their own homes.

Because, personally, we never would have known about the possibility of having the kind of vacation we are having right now...

A fabulous pool home, so obviously cared for by "great-to-deal-with owners"....oops, just a second, tea is ready, croissants are coming out of the oven - I'm on my way out to the pool deck for sunrise:)

Will there be a list of these links or are you just saying they will be allowed to put a link in the thread? I want to rent a pool home and I'm looking for sites that have been recommended by others.

There will not be a list of links. Also, pool home owners still cannot advertise, link, or "push" their homes in any manner. What can happen is if DISER's ask for referrals to certain houses--- another DISER that has rented that home can in fact say they did and link to it just like all the other homes that are not rented by DISER's. Essentially they will be treated in the same manner that the homes not owned by DIS board members are. If at some point it become out of control then we'd have to institute a no linking what-so-ever policy.
