However....

1lb on for Gavin :sad2: - Am very suprised at Gavin, he usually enjoys the competition of losing weight with me and generally does much better than I do :confused3

One lb for me, I had such a stressful week last week the diet went out of the window a bit, but I did join a gym and I have been going to that. Ive started back on my diet today and fingers crossed I will stick to it!

If anyone has anything motivational to say it would be much appreciated! :thumbsup2

Good luck to all! :)

I am not going for my weigh in this week as I have been really naughty, so I have to work hard in time for my last weigh in next Wednesday (still have 1 lb to go!).

So for this week put me down as stayed the same pls.

Well done to everyone else.

i had such a stressful week, put 2lbs on! im so annoyed with myself! ive been working 11hour days and couldnt resit a glass of red wine in the evenings to chill out.

Have to do much better next week. - maybe no food would help lol.

I have just got back from weight watchers and lost 2lb this week which means I have exceeded my pledge total , so that is a total of 11lb lost for me this challenge. I think I might change my pledge to 12lb and see if I can loose another 1lb next week.

Well done to all others that have lost too.

You are all doing so BRILLIANTLY!!
I must admit i am struggling a bit! some days i find it so hard to keep going, some days are better than others, i have had an "ok week" this week, I think part of my problem is not being allowed to exercise yet, only allowed to walk walk walk, and in this cold weather it is hard to get motivated to go out.
Good luck to you if you are still to be weighed and keep going to you if you've had an off week :grouphug:

Only 1lb for me this week! weighed myself on friday and had lost 3 but had a really bad weekend as dh is away so scales showed only 1 on monday, very dissapointed with myself but have got back into the good habits this week so crossed fingers for monday!!

I have a very bad habit of jumping on & off the scales all week which can be disheartening when you lose 4 lbs but then put 3 back on meaning you officially lose 1lb, but I have a strict policy of a Monday morning weigh-in and figure it all evens out in the end!

I have actually stopped weighing myself weekly, as per Paul McKenna's system! I'm going to weigh myself every couple of months from now on. :)

Stayed the same this week, looks like a really gradual weight loss system!
can't exercise at the mo either due to a bad back

Lost 3lbs this week

I have now reached my (amended) target but I'm not going to change it as DPILs are visiting this weekend and it's DH's birthday on Monday so I reckon I might be a bit naughty ;)

Well done to everyone else :)

Just back from SW, lost 2lb this week.

Not going to make my pledge now, but perhaps it was a bit adventurous, knowing how slo-o-o-owly I lose weight!

Would like to get another 2 off next week though. :thumbsup2

I've lost another pound this week :thumbsup2

Since my weigh loss has slowed down I have decided that I will be weighing myself every two weeks instead of weekly. I don't want to start to feel disheartened by the slow weightloss, so feel that this is the best thing to do.

Congrats to everyone who has lost weight this week :)

Anybody feel it's getting harder?

I am doing ok but struggling to keep Gavin motivated at the moment! I keep telling him if he cheats (and he has been very bad) he will just be jealous of my super slim & toned physique in a few months when he is struggling to fasten his airplane seat belt! :teeth:

My DH is the same at the moment Jodie. Although, I have to admit, my resolve broke tonight when DPILs fancied a chinese - would have been rude not to join in ;)

DH is just getting fed up of me telling him what not to eat, I think. The trouble with my DH as well is he's not fat - he just has a big belly :)

Definatley getting harder or it may be that i've just had the week from hell! ( i even smoked a cigarette on tues and i gave up 2 years and 9 days ago) Dh has been away skiing with the boys this week leaving me at home with our ds 16 months, unfortunatley he has had a bad virus and is coughing badly at night therefore i have had very little sleep and have had to keep my temper with a very whingey boy. Can't wait till dh gets back tomorrow night, i have arranged a nice dinner for sunday eve then am planning to start my healthy eating plan again on Monday.

Are we going to do another six week pledge? I hope so as i have got a long way to go, but at least i have not got to worry about the seatbelt until May 2007!

Hi,
any one can join! here is the info for you, at the moment we are starting on week 6 tomorrow, and then the following week will be a new 6 week pledge.

"this is going to be a 6 weekly pledge
what happens is that today we will each pledge how much we want to lose in 6 weeks, at the end of the 6 weeks we will then choose another weight goal for the next 6 weeks, and so on and so on!
for instance i pledge to lose 8lbs in 6 weeks
I hope by doing it like this in small chunks will keep us all motivated and it wont feel so much like a never ending struggle "

Hi, the new pledge starts on 20th feb, so you can just add on the 3lbs to your total so far , and then on the 20th pledge your 10lbs! does this make sense?
well done you for doing so well :thumbsup2

Netty, this is actually the end of week 6 (final weigh-in for the 1st pledge) so we really ought to be starting our new pledges from weigh-in day this week.
