My son Wes found out today that he will be working at the DTD Pin Station. He will be there starting Sunday or Monday until August 19th so if anyone sees a College Program CM with a name tag that say Wes say hi to him.
He loves to pin trade so they couldn't have gotten anyone better to do the job! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
I guess spending 20 minutes on the phone talking about pin trading when he interviewed helped get him the job :)

I just got back Tuesday and spent 2 days with my college program 20 yo niece. She works merchandising at Fantasyland. She loves her job, started jan 11th. I rented a car and took her food shopping at Super Target. She bought 12 packages of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. She took me to her apartment she shares with 3 other CP girls (the under 21 buildings). The residences are very nice. Most of them do not have cars, so they take busses everywhere. She said her first solo experience was working the Pin Cart at Fantasyland. They gave her a GREEN lanyard to wear. Good Choice.
Hope your son has a good time.

Cool. I hope he's working August 17th because it'll be my DS' 5th birthday and a jaunt to DTD that afternoon is definately in the cards! (pins & Lego, pins & Lego) I'll keep him in mind and wish him well on his final two days!!!

He's been trying to keep some of the better stuff on his kids lanyard. He said that way the vultures that wait every morning or them to open the doors don't get all of the lanyard pins.

She's wrking Fantasyland merchandise? That is so cool because that's where I did my CP last year. I loved it, and am hoping to go again.
